@Bobbo4200 - ya broke a tube so got me a masonry blade for my hacksaw and took off the broken bottom portion. Works like a charm, blew that sour dog erl outa it... Shits like orange & so clear.

Ooo, that's a loaded question. Lotta hype surrounding this cut. I think hype like that can hurt a cut. Past a certain point it can't possibly live up to the expectations.
I enjoy it. It's a tasty, potent smoke. Complex smell. Nice mood elevator. Not KO smoke but if you overindulge it can stone you pretty good. It's a better Bubba, basically.

The smell it leaves in the room too.... friggin divine. It's an og-like high but more indica influence. Very relaxing smoke which is where I feel the bubba comparison comes from, but unlike bubba it has a good head to it. I think a lot of us can agree that the pre 98 got old and boring for us as time went on, that straight indy high that goes no where and has little character just like purps. I don't see that happening as quickly with the cookies. I wouldn't say it's the most rawly potent thing I've ever smoked, but that's when comparing it to stellar cuts of og kush, stuff like pk that is just dick-in-the-dirt strong. GSC is fucking bomb.

Yeah that stardawg is the bomb shit flys over here cant get enough .Don't sleep on the guava that one is nice also ,just a little finicky .. Tahoe is my new favorite been puffing that shit crackhead style .

Orange kush was bomb smoke to me it tasted like orange cream soda with the kush undertones sad to lose her as not many have her !!!

Whats with the Tahoe?
I grew out Buddha TahoeOG and it was just o.k.
Very small kushy style plants with small stringy branches, that actually held up heavy nuggets. The taste was just o.k. The stone was just o.k
Extremely hard to root in my EZ-Clone 120. They just wouldnt root. All 4 strains in there were rooted, t/p'ed into 1g pots, and vegged for 7 days and the Tahoe's still didnt even have bumps. This is why I ask. What makes the Tahoe so special to you Baph? Your one of the elite growers on here, and if you hold the Tahoe up so highly, there is obviously good reason. Orange Kush sounds Bomb.

A few years back someone accidentally gave me a Orange kush plant instead of something else they meant to give me, think it was the UK cheese, about 50 days into flowering I get a call...."Did I give you that orange kush by accident?" Heres me, I'm not sure you never told me anything about a Orange kush." Other Person..."FUCK! I hope i didn't lose my last one." After harvest we found the plant and smoked a J of the stuff, description was dead on to UBER21's post...Needless to say it was head and shoulders above everything else we were running at the time, and of course it was by accident....hang on to that one.
Rasp, I am with you I get a lot of OG out of the cookies with a touch of GPD/grapey, but I have to admit still I don't get any smells/taste of cookies, baked goods, or mint. Excellent weed regardless, worth the hype??? well to me that answer is all opinion. Top notch weed all around but their are def other strains that are on its level.
Alone, nice pics....also pretty sure the tahoe is suppose to be lemony og with lots of flavor and potent stone. As far as rooting not sure if its picky or not, OG's in general are suppose to be, but to be honest I've yet to have any issues as long as your cuts are new shoots with soft not stiff stems...
Got some blueberry ear wax I made yesterday, gonna let it sit out and cure up a couple days...
Here is some nug I got from a neighboring friend, these mainers know how to grow and stay low key. Off the boards and doing nothing but popping seeds I dig their style...

Damn Otto, props on that earwax... looks tasty... .and the nug looks top notch also. I think there was a discussion quite a few pages back of tahoe being a bitch to clone and someone suggested... maybe Bamph? that it likes lower light conditions during cloning. Correct me if I'm wrong but I swear I read that a while back...

Ive read that too Tyga. I only use a 4' long x 2 bulb flourescent.
This is why it peeks my interest in why the Tahoe is special enough to deal with the rooting issue and the fact it takes extra veg time to get good yields off her.
Is it the effect? The taste? The smell? All of the above? Im just curios what characteristics it is that the Baphomet likes about the Tahoe compared to the other OG's out there. I was kinda sad the cuts wouldnt root. Out of what I had going at the time this would have made the best SOG plant.
That sucks about the Orange Kush momma plant. I still regret flowering out my Mass Super Skunk momma by accident.

alone- i use the same 4' 2 bulbs for cloning. turn one of the bulbs off so that its only one bulb on. you should see better success rates on an OGK.
