A few more shots of that plant posted above!

This was grown with 2 42W CFL's in a computer case using organic soil! Was one of the best smokes that I ever grew! The lights weren't on the top of the plant, each bulb was on a side of the main cola! I'm not sure how much it yielded, but I gotta guess around 20g's!

Stack boards or something waterproof under each different pot and just pull them out one by one to lower the pots as the plants stretch.

Zee dresser cab. 242 watts of flower power when it's got the flowering lights in it, around 180 when it's in vege mode. mix CFL/PL-L lamps. 14.5 x 22.5 x 36 inches. Redgreen style ventilation with axial fans.

And here's some Nirvana's White Widow grown in it.

Well, as of tomorrow I am leaving the CFL club. My CFL's just put out too much heat in my cabinet so I am going to switch over to U-bend tube fluoros so I can remote the ballasts and get the temps back under reasonable control. It was fun while it lasted but the fan decided to stop working last week and the plants burned up. We are lucky there was no fire. It was a clear warning to me, so I have spent a few hundred bucks on the necessary parts and tomorrow I will spend the day installing 13 24-watt 3000K, 82CRI T8 fluorescents, each pumping out 1925 lumens, so I will end up with some huge output numbers if these babies can all run in there. It will be different, but I am after a true stealth operation and tat means a small fan that is quieter than a whisper with a duct muffler and complete smell protection... You do what you gotta do and this is where I am at...

To any Canuckastanians that are looking for the 42 watt CFLs, check out a Sobey's store. I picked up 2 2700k ones for $10 a piece. I might have to go back and pick up a few more. They have the Daylight ones too, at least at the store I was at. Philips brand.

Canadian Tire caries G.E. ones, but they are at $18, and Homedespot are Philips at $18 ish as well.

Here's the tube installation on the grow side.

Here's the system lit off...

And here's what it looks like in the grow chamber with the Mylar on all the walls and the adjustable shelves mounted.

:thank you:
