Along came a Spyder

Three spyders growing in soil, they have just shown preflowers and are all female.

This strain is truly a joy to grow. Crystal production on upper and sub-colas is like looking at a fine dusting of fresh snow. The spyder girls smell sweeter, look greener (/ purpler), and grow faster than anything else in my garden right now. I would post pictures of the developing flowers, but I do not want to be rude and do so without your consent, canned (trying not to take over your thread). Thanks for all your hard work, and thanks especially for sharing it with us. Bear

if i may be rude to ask. i know f5-6 were for breeding. but what was the yeild wieght? and how many plants?

Hey U, from what I can tell right now my plants will probably yield somewhere between 25 and 40 grams each, growing in foxfarm soil in 3 gallon pots under a 600 watt HPS, fertilized with grow big during veg and now tiger bloom. Hope that helps!

EDIT: Also, two distinct phenos, one is a broader leaf and grows much taller, stretching, and the other has a much slimmer blade like leaf structure but stays very short (sort of counter intuitive on an indiac/sativa basis). I used LST for all three plants, like the OP did. (but with considerably less skill!) Fewer crystals on the sativa leaves, but they started flowering approximately five days later than the other pheno.

Spyder @ 50 days from seed. So sweet smelling, best plant in my grow of 10 strains. Thanks canned.

@ 60 days I took a bud off for sampling. It has now dried for two days, and crisped a bit on top of my balast. Here is a smoke report, although the sample is not totally mature.

What is the reason people run Autos. Fast sure. But small, under potency and just seems like time couldbbe spent on something way more worth while. I know nobody that wastes there time with Autos. Thought about running some for an early season outdoor crop or two before the choppers fly. Just can't see taking that big of hit from lower potency.

I dont know why people still assume that autos lack in potency, many autos are just as potent as non autos, they have come a long way and can be on par with non autos. Homegrown used to be known as low potency and now it is the standard and very potent. Times change and so have autoflowering plants. When I smoke spyder with someone they dont question if it is an autoflower or not, the subject doesnt come up unless I tell them.

Will there be any more restock on attitude or is there anywhere else I can buy some more of these seeds? I just popped the last 3 seeds I have so i've got my fingers crossed for a good male/female! They always seem to be out of stock on attitude :(
