i mounted cfl's with duck tape... in future i will never use that fckn tape.. im so nervous today...
The exact same thing happened to me with a 85w cfl. After trying duct tape and velcro to hold my light in place i realized that once those lights heat up the glue begins to melt and duct tape and velcro with a glue back become worthless. My solution to this was to drill holes and zip tie things into place. This method seems to work much better, you just gotta tape over the holes you created with black tape to seal the light leak.
what is your concern with the clones?
and what I do man is buy some power strips then buy these adapters from homedepot
Plug those in the power strips, then on the back of the power strips there is two holes on each side, drill some screws part way into your wall, the screws perfectly fit into the holes then you slide it down to secure. I think you will understand a little better when you see it in front of you.

If you can't drill big holes in your PC case 'cause it's hard, try to drill two small holes then mount those:

I still dont understand why you don't know what to do with the flowering clones? Flower em outt!! whats wrong with them? were they burned by the lights as well?
what he said ^^ no harm in trying to flower them out if you dont have anything else ready to flower
