4 train wreck other 3 unknown, end of first week.
This isn't just my first time hydro, but busted my cultivation cherry2.
Using:
-reverse osmosis, pH 5.5-6.5
-coco coir+perlite+hydroton clay rocks

."started with 250w cfl 6500k blue spectrum then," added 1000w mh
shortly after had problems with foliage of one of my Train Wrecks, pic included, but figured why not try & pick up the slack for ill caring of the first set of foliage & let the roots further develop & rise up, literally.

Definitly a little to small for the 1kw MH. But it looks like you figured it out on your own!

Course has change direction with concerns/worries
this baby of mine, as youll see, is suffering form droopiness & some intense yellowing of leaves(just bottom?)
wondering if there's any critically-constructive feedback available?

What are u feeding it? Looks hungry.. Ur ph seems fine at 5.5 but from what I understand 6.5 maybe slip on the high side... With the little ones u wanna feed at half dose or ur likely to have lock outs.. And never feed with out nutes in coco and hydroton

-have the 3-pack fox farm, so grow big just now with bat guano 11-4-1

-started with grow big maybe a week ago when more immature at about 1/2 to 2/3 of bOTt cap alone

-it may have a taste of super thrive

*my mil ph600 went outta wack a few days ago becuz i believe i submerged it to much in water so it would read sumthin like "18.6" when turned on then flick to "1."
I opened up the bat compartment to let air dry but now seems working fine, p[roblem though is i fiddled once or THwice with the calibration setting, dont even have stabilizer solution atm tho so S.N.A.F.U

so to test pH, hafta use this handy dandy hans on solution shtuff

I've never used the fox farm bottled nutes b4 dose the cap have any measuring marks? Or u just guessing? But haha I believe every single person on here has the dropper ph kit lol for that exact reason... But the Hanna's are water proof but the probe can fail but the drops are good when the pen is screwing up...atleast u get an idea of where ur at..

Get some measuring spoons for your nutes... You dont want to be ballparking it right out of the gate.

You also dont want to subject seedlings or fresh clones to the intensity of 1000 w.

I use FF in soil... dont know nothing about use in chow mix... but you may need something to keep you clear of salt build-up.

Superthrive will lower your water ph pretty significantly... Ive found that 10 drops/g lowers my ph by 0.5-0.6.

You should scrap the tin foil too... itll be shredded before you know it. If you cant afford reflective materials, like me, bright flat pure white paint works just fine.

Best of luck - get em growing!

Superthrive, I shoulda dilluted a good amount in the gallons of ro-water. Any heads up or suggestions in how to manage using superthrive?

imho. i would drop the 1000watts for a max of 600 for that room keep temp at 74-76 with humidity around 50% till week 4 in veg. looks like you have about 7ft of hight to grow so i would change out to 5 gallon buckets with 10inch mesh pots and work seedlinggs into 6inch rockwool blocks. A setup like this is roughly 15dollars for6" rockwool,hydroton,5 gallon bucket and mesh pot. i also enjoy the flora products for my hydro setups.kp your ppm's around 6.0 and dont feed every day, just water every other till you see signs of the little ones gettin back to normal. i look at the 4th week of veg to be the jumping off point for feeding with most of my grows but some plants beg so they receive. i run 12 plant super silver haze/white widow/himalayan gold this way and i seem to get great results.

alittle to much water "feeding" drop back about 1 feeding per day for about 3days to a week.
