Pro-Controls work, but these are better. These little 2oz bombs are the one you want if you can still find them.

My local shop can no longer get them and now sell the foggers Mr_D listed. Something about a stop sale as they can no longer be purchased without a larger agriculture license or something. Looks like they may still be available online though.

These little bangers are 4% concentration vs. the 0.5% concentration of the Pro-Controls.

Ya, but those don't have the cyfluthrin in them. That's what makes the ones I showed work so well. And when you consider the can is half the size, the amount of active ingredent that gets released doesn't change much if any over the pro-controls. IMO those bombs are a just marketing gimick.

I was fightin em with Merit75WP + these things and couldn't 100% flush em out after 2 weeks. Then I added SM-90 @ 3ml/gal and they were gone in under a week. Not sure if it was just coincidence or if the SM-90 really helped that much. But I've heard about SM-90 innoculating mediums against root pests/larvae so...

SM-90 has always been my go to as a "Preventive" measure by inoculating said coco medium @ 5 ml per gal religiously to prevent eggs and larvae from hatchin and proliferating once alive , but.......

I guess I was just lucky from knowin bout SM-90 from the get to prevent root rot in fast hydro if solution temps rose above 70 degrees 20 yrs ago , and when Nutrilife tried ta sell it to the Cali "Med Market" back in the mid 90`s as an "organic rootzone insecticide" , it got rejected.....but........

It stuck in my head and since I`d always used it with my other setups before I went all in with coco , it made no sense to stop since I had gallons and gallons of it on hand anyways....and.......

Before shutdown I had a small burst of fungus gnats once.......once in several yrs of rockin vert racks with 8 rooms at 4 llocations....and......

Went to Lowe`s and bought buncha packs of "skeeter dunks" with the same ingredient "Gnatrol" has as in BTI and the yellow sticky traps ta get the fliers..... crumbled the dunks up on each container and watered it in........within days along with the SM-90 critters were gones-ville in several 100 containers and I was impressed..........anyways......

I had a concept of what I needed to make this work... I mean come on, I have 800gal of reservoir capacity... But all the minor details for how to pull it together just can't be taught. Just filling the reservoirs was a challenge at first which I never anticipated. You've gotta do it, learn from experience, and adapt or perish.... The latter not being an option for me.

I can leave the grow for 2 weeks at a time now until the nutrients run low and the plants are growing into the light, or branches start snapping from the weight of the buds.... Still gotta do the once a week visit for best results though. if there's a next one, it'll be 10x easier now that I've encountered just about every problem imaginable... Lol

My point here is maybe you guys need to learn how to pick 'em better?

I mean, I had to shut down my grow and I'm basically starting completely from scratch, but I have no fears that my ex is out there planning to tell the world about me. Our relationship ran its course and we want different things out of life. So we separated. But because I treated her good for 5+ years and treated her with respect during and after the break up, we've had far less drama than many here seem to have.

I fully agree that one ought not show all their cards to some girl they just met at a bar. I fully agree that it is pragmatic not to bring random girls home to your grow. But eventually, if you have any hope of having a REAL RELATIONSHIP with anyone, you have to let them in.

I agree with you to a degree, but it is very possible to have a real long term relationship without the significant other having any idea as to your business/hobby.

I know a few old timers who have never told their wives they grow, nor will they ever. Not simply for their own safety, but for their wives safety as well.

They simply get up, go to work, punch the clock and come home. All gardening related work is done during normal work hours when they are expected to be away. Nothing suspicious about it depending on how one goes about it/lives their lifestyle. Being self-employed in some way with a normal job (whether real or not) obviously makes this a bit easier.



I actually think its very important to keep these matters remote depending on the female. In my own experience I can definitely see how the stress related to the business can spill over onto the innocent people around you. Best to keep it to yourself if you can. My long term lady knows all, but I can't say its been the best approach for her mental state.

Guess it depends on the person.

My bill with a working girl would get racked up pretty fast... ha ha... There's lots of women willing to have sex for free... Aint no thang to rent an apt for $500 a month + electric, bring in a couch and a mattress... Good call on the false documents and the burn phone though... I hadn't thought about that...

Let's not forget guys, I don't live at my grow. I do grow where I live, but it's nothing I wouldn't hesitate to destroy the minute things looked bad. It's under lock and key, nobody goes in but me. I'm licensed by the state to grow and use cannabis. I'll know if anybody is coming with a warrant to search my grow. Having a "small" grow at my residence is a good explanation for where all the bud I smoke comes from. Or say the IRS decides they're gonna audit me or maybe the DEA, MMMR, LARA, local/county police... There's a list of people who can fuck with me.

The real grow is up north... And now I leave one day and come back the next. That's easy to explain. I drive around for my second job.

I've been doing this for too long to turn around and sell the farm for some pussy... I've had my fair share of crazy bitches... The ex wasn't even given a key to my place, let alone allowed to live with me. With her... She knew. I was always honest and respectful... but I also had an exit strategy. We didn't break up until I had a new location, and I never let her know where it was. All the same I broke up with her right, I didn't cheat on her or tell everyone her business. I just talked to her a couple days ago.

So... No, she's not going to the lake house... lol... but I'm also not a career grower, and this happens to be part of my exit strategy. Taking my time... Eventually everything will fall into place.
