Thanks Ground up! And silver! Its a Nikon d40 camera my wife bought me. Most of the pics were set on automatic if you can believe that. I also use a 50-200mm lens for the far away action shots.

Sorry if the hawking pics are off topic, but i wanted to change the vibe. I wanna keep this thread positive. And i thought you guys would get a kick out of it (my passion).

always interested in what people use for a camera... primarily because im on the search for one right now.

Looking pretty nice in there! I see a few holes in the upper canopy, and I had the same issue. I think topping her once would fix that...
You going 10 weeks or 11? Not sure how long your rez lasts.

Whats up Arm! Yea.. im thinking 10. I know bobbles says 11 and 12 even better, but i think with aero they mature a little quicker. Im just gonna play it by ear. They look close to done now as far as color and hairs. But 10 days will put me at about 10 weeks + -.

Man this USD is a bitch to fill the canopy. Your right, I bet topping would do the trick!

Plants are looking good bro. They made a nice recovery. If everything is going smooth, 11 weeks is long enough to flower. I prefer the flavor at 11 weeks vs. 12. As for filling the canopy with her... I never really had a problem... You just have to leave her grow bushy and bend the branches around and place them where you want them. The USD doesn't require a lot of pruning due to it's ridiculous internode spacing. You can really cram them in tight without overcrowding.

Thx Dorky!

Bobble thanks for the tips on the USD. A pic of your USD in a vert would help tremendously. The only real holes in my setup is between the top row main colas. Normally i put the biggest vegged plants on the top row and that takes care of open spaces. But, this run i didn't know exctly how much stretch i was gonna get so i put the smallest on the top. Funny thing is the top rows colas are now the biggest.

I have 8 going into flower in the next 10 days. 2-3 of them have been topped and as expected now have multiple solid tops. Going to leave the rest un-topped and just train them at 90 degree angles on the screen. Should be interesting to see the side by side, just to make sure the yield isn't affected like topping some strains...

Here we go again with that itch to upgrade and redesign. I have a new vert vision!

It involves 80 of these stackable petfood containers. And a combination of Aero and UnderCurrent.

The size of these would allow to go 5 levels high. 4 per level 20 per wall, 4 walls.

Starting to lay awake at night thinking about it. Don't ya hate when that happends!

15" L X 12" W X 18" H

The problem is these things cost a fortune!

Lol, I do the same thing FHC! I have been troubled at night with my current design issues...
Those containers are supposed to be great for curing your buds rather than fuck loads of jars... Just in case it doesn't work out lol!

The cheapest i can find is like $35 buck ea. x 80= WTF! LOL But it's all in my mind and i know it will work. Just trying to find a petco truck that lost its load on the side of the road...lol

About $20 of that is for the label... I have discovered that a lot of commercially designed hydro systems get their plastic containers from the same source as my roofing manufacturer for the storage of fasteners. If you look on those containers you should be able to see a manufacturers mark that is embossed into the container itself. Try to Google the manufacturer name and you may find the supplier in China, at half price or lower...
Edit: Never mind, unless yours are different than the one I have for my dog food. Gamma Plastics is the manufacturer of mine, and they are based out of San Diego, not China, so it may not be possible to get them at Chinese slave labor prices...

Maybe check alibaba.com if you need that many. Just find whoever supplies petco and I bet prices drop drastically........

Yep mine is a gamma too. These things are perfect though. The lid screws on and is water and air tight. The volume inside is 11 gallons! They stack on top of each other with a lip and an impression. The possibilities are there for all sorts of different vertical growing applications with that angled lid.

Iv'e been searching everywhere on the internet. At least the manufacturer (gamma) is near by..so maybe i can get a price break.

What about a smaller container? I don't know about the angle opened ones, but I have seen 1 and 5 gallons containers for 12 and 20 bucks respectively...
