How can i go about storing comfrey? I plan to grow comfrey in a nice area outside. was hoping i could make the comfrey syrup and freeze it or freeze the leaves immediately. Then during winter i dont have to buy comfrey root powder or anything.

It will work. These plants are resilient.

Don't do it.

You'll have better results.

Follow what is written here and use your best judgment.

Learn about the soil and you will understand why I'm so frustrated. It makes no sense at all.

Sorry for being rude.... kind of. But I hope that my rudeness prompts you to research further.

For now, just use the soil mix, all will be well.
......
...try 3 years of this BS. Then you'll be sitting here with some cool living soil thread and have conflict over chem nutes popping up here and there in a supposed organic soil forum.....frustrating indeed. I feel ya~

This is the organic recycled living soil thread......need I say more. All the dumbass chemi questions could go to the regular organic soil threads w/no problems....proly get a wider range of answers rather than the unified approach we who use ROLS/RLOS have. This is somewhat a biased group of growers for good reason....we practice horticulture...not myth-based cannabis gardening.

I dont blame you guys. Just thought i would ask but after really sitting down and pricing everything out i am going to buy everything and start this on my next round. Just put 3 into flower so in March will be my first run with ROLS.

....and we don't blame you. Blame is offically placed on the heads of those who started all the canna-myth BS. You can still find these guys/gals spewing non-horticultural advice daily...however some have retired after a successful carrier spreading misinformation.

Keep it real....as in for fucking real.

I cant wait to show my buddies some ROLS grown herb, and how cheap it is. Honestly i got the PBP G&B and some other things because of a "certain breeder" on a different forum. Im glad i found this thread, wish i would have found it sooner before i spent all the money on these bottles but fuck it. Just hope i can find somebody to buy these to make back some of the money. They arent even dented.

At less than $3.00 for about 12 oz. of water in a fresh young coconut that's an amazing array of phytohormones, etc. isn't it?

I know mate I'm gonna go buy a coconut, once I drain the liquid and put it in a bottle untill I need it will it be ok just in the fridge? so I can keep using it bit by bit? and what dilution rates would you suggest? like coconutwater 1:5water?

EDIT: I read some info on bamboo contains the best natural source of silica and that made me remember I trimmed a bamboo that grows in my mums garden I cut most of the leaves as it was over growing and shredded them with the lawnmower they were pretty touch leavs so it should add a good source of silica to my compost.. I was also thinking of making a bamboo leaf tea has anyone tried this?

1:15 is what I've been using. If you're going to store it then put it in a sealed jar in the coldest spot in your refrigerator.

That's what I've been doing and I try to use it all within 5 - 7 days.

YMMV

I will spray them everyday anyway so shouldn't last more than a week..I may go 1:20 as they are seedlings. What about the Bamboo? best way to use it and what parts of the bamboo?

Compost is the best use.

BTW - how many bamboo shoots could you harvest when the warm season arrives? Since you're interested in BIM and related process, look at the food from Nepal called mesu - fermented bamboo shoots.

Over 360 lactobacillus strains when you finish the fermenting process.
