& you've even gotten me thinking about changing a few things here . 4 plants per light in 3 gallons of coco is working great for you .... i might try the same . i won't get near what you do with 600's .... but i have 3 of them over my 4 x 8 area ..... si might be able to come close . hell i'm getting better than a QP per plant now with 2 gallons of coco .... but i'm getting a bunch of bottom larf from having to many plants in the trays .

Whoa? is that for real? over 2 gallons for every plant?
when I hand water my 2 and 3 gallon coco I see runoff after about 1-1/2 quarts or so.
I do water every other day also but your plants look way bigger than mine, I put 16-20 plants per light.

i would say about 10 gallons per tray is my runoff, never actually measured it tho, could be a bit more or less

vertigo- dont feel bad, if you dont get heavy runoff you risk lockouts which lead to not so pleasent buds! i do reuse my run off water tho which makes it a pretty earth friendly setup later bud!

You reuse it ??? are you filtering it first ??? i get alot of crap floating around in my runoff ... so i've been just dumping it . theres times i feel like i'm wasting alot of feed juice by doing it .... but never even thought about reusing it

ya i recirculate, this is what i do..

if i use a 40 gallon tank to water, and i hit them with 1000 ppms of food and say 800 or 900 comes back..

i then fill all that water back into my can, but i only fill the 40 gallon cans with about 20 gallons of old water, then add 20 gallons of fresh r.o

its the only way i can use r.o on a scale like this without feeling like a dick. haha

plus i get tons of water from my 5 ton ac which i use to top off that old water,, works really good you just gotta be on it!
also the only filter used is the one inside of the pump that pumps the water from the catch tray to the res...
