I did a cross using the parentals in reverse order too (Blueberry x SSH), so it will def be interesting to see how they grow out. Fun shit indeed!

Has anyone ran DJ's Azure Haze yet? How does it compare to BD?

All these seed plants messed up blue dreams rep. For the most part when i see blue dream its avrage or bad but some guy brought in a sample that was so frosted and fox tailed with a nice hazey smell. Great bag apeal. I think its pretty hard now to find the real clone but the orginal clone is fire. But not really my type.

You might be right, but I am skeptical. The number of seed vendors making BD S1s when I bought these beans was.... one (Riot). The number of vendors making BD now - to the best of my knowledge - is one (Humboldt Seeds Organization). I know Swerve has made S1s, too, but their dissemination does not appear to be widespread. I can't imagine that the number of folks growing BD from seed constitute much more than a negligible fraction of the entirety of the multitudes who grow BD. I suspect the real culprit in the diminution of BD's rep is the proliferation of fake cuts - of people passing off crap as the real-deal BD. There are far more folks with access to cuts they can claim to be BD than there are with access to BD beans of any kind, and some folks will say anything to move their bud.

Yeah the seed plants and fake cuts. I grew one outdoors this year in veg it looked dead on but it was bunk. Around my area iv seen maybe 10 samples this year with only one being the real cut. Frosted up with top notch bag appeal and that nice hazey smell and taste. I like the funky chem family stains best but the real BD cut has its place.

It does have a nice taste, doesn't it? And, it's a great daytime buzz. It doesn't quite have the hammer I prefer, but it sure does taste and smell good.
