im a big fan of the rob zombie movies. house of 1000 corpses / the devils rejects. the halloween remakes and friday the 13th.

hes making a new movie is mass right now about the salem witch trials...

I saw a film last night, "Cassadaga" , sort of texas chainsaw meets the ring. The serial killer was kidnapping women, amputating their arms and legs at the elbows/knees, fixing metal jointed sockets to the stumps and severed limbs, re-attaching the limbs, and making the women into marionettes.
Anyone seen "Antichrist" with Willem Dafoe. His mental wife drills a hole through his calf and talkes the wheel from a big old grinder, undoes the bolts, pushes the spindle through his calf and bolts the fucking thing to his leg, then throws away the spanner so he can't take it off. That's one needy chick. Oh yeah, she cuts off her own Clitoris with a pair of scissors too.

Yep, Rob Zombie did a great job with the Halloween "Prequel."

His Wife is a FOX, and was great in the two House of 1000 Corpses, so creepy!

Don't know if Waters' movies really fit the bill here, but good stuff and quite weird and sick in their own way. Funny too.

I'll 2nd Harry's recommendation for Antichrist (if there's someone who hasn't seen that one yet), amazing movie. As we are going further and further from actual horror flicks now, something I feel would be of interest for posters in this thread: I Stand Alone (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0157016/), my absolute favorite from Gaspar Noe. So dark and horrible, yet still so real, IMO much worse - in a good way - than more well known Irreversible (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0290673/ - good movie too). French are good with this sort of movies that deal with depression, criminal insanity, ultra-violence...

^ Those any good? I've only watched the first one and it's good. Now that we're on mondo, another recommendation pops to my mind: Africa Addio (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060073/). It's not just blood and guts but actually a pretty good shockumentary / documentary movie too.

Eva Mendez was so cute in Machete lol..so was Michellse,I like that movie.and im a huge horror fan,call me lame but one movie that had me contstanly "checking" in on my roommate was "the devil inside"..damn good movie,another sick/gore one is house of 1000 corpses and the devil's rejects lol,sheri moon (rob zombies wife) was soooooo damn deliciously evil in that movie,plus the end of the first one was just plain crepy and satanic.

another good little movie was insidious,the uninvited had its moment,

another good one is an american haunting..its based on a true story of "something" called the bell witch,she was very real,did exist,google her right know..john adams himself witnessed it..dont google her if your not into the paranormal,cus its pretty damn freaky...

ive always been interested in the paranormal,so i know alot of true accounts and such,i love movies too of any kind..not really into cult classics,but at the same time im not into the hollywood glam horror movies lol.

I remember when Rob Zombie was painting a background for The Headbangers Ball, and Ricky Rachtman was bitching at him for taking too long lol. His wife is a doll though..creepy in the movies (shudder)

I may have over looked some post but has anyone mentioned any Quintin Tarantino movies? Gotta love "Death Proof" "Grindhouse" and "Hostel". Personally I love Death Proof. Now there isn't a shit ton of gore or anything, but a creepy as pervert chasing around sexy bad ass women and using that fine piece of muscle car history to kill, who can't love that...
