brown leaf tips

ok this is my first crack at growing.
I have a 70 watt MH wil be getting better lighting real soon.

It is bagseed from some really good stuff.
I havent added any nutes .
just transplanted it a week ago into Fox farms.

I did have an over watering problem but that has been fixed.

The very tip of just about every fan leaf is brown. I thought maybe it was to close to the light but I moved the light up a few inch's yesterday and today I have new growth with brown tips .

Any clue as to why ?

I will try to get pics up later 2 day. My only good cam is acting up.

From what I see online it looks like nute burn but as I said I havent added any yet. But as you said maybe its just from the FF I flushed it a few hours ago just incase. Hopefully it gets better .

ok all. Just got up and charging batteries for camera. Seems to be getting worse .

I have to add that prior to switching to ff my cat molested my plant and left it with only a few leaves.
Also the reason I transplanted it was because the soil it was in was not draining good. I did check the roots and they looked good they where all white but the lack of drainage in the old soil caused the roots to not grow much at all.
Im just hoping to at least get a clone or 2 out of this plant because I have no seeds left.

I also would like to ask if theres an alternative to making my grow cab a bit more humid. I dont have enough room to add a humidifier. I dont have a way to check humidity at the moment, but I would guess its dry in my little cab. temps run around 75 to 85 F

I have a fan in there and a 1x3 inch hole to let fresh air in.

I really think its nute burn the pics I see online are exactly like mine, but I will still post a pic or 2 here to get more opinions and help.

Well I got a roughly 2x2x3 grow cab with a 70w MH and the plant sits about 6 inchs under the light with a fan blowing on it.

I really had no intention of growing but after throwing some seeds out my backdoor I found a plant with white hairs so the wife asked if I could put it in a flower pot for her. I did and she grew tired of dealing with it so I took over.
It was staying in our window up until her cat stated eating the leaves thats when I took an old shelf and mad a cab for it.

I have the chance to get a 400 watt hps next week for free, im going to grab it but I dont think I will be able to use it in my current cab. without having major heat issues.

Well lets see how bad it really is then we can start fixing it.

Grow room idea is a good one, I think you should really consider using a very spacious area or a very well cooled area for a 400w mh.
