I think blackberry kush with a sour diesel backcross from the tacoma market would be killer... the 'Double Diesel' from there is fucking incredible. I have many ideas but I'd like to work with mainly older genetics, starting with an old afghan popped from a seed found in hash back in '75 when my mentor used to only sell hash, from that seed came OR which was short for original, the reason being that cut was being run for decades before anything new came out during the big gene boom of the 2000's - real shit from the sticks; though earlier on crossed it with what he believes at the time was Moroccan, Oaxacan, or old mexicali landrace (from around the same time the OR afghan existed; lovely landrace hyrbid DM is).
The OR exists as an old untampered cut and the cross its known for parenting around this area, The Deadman, Deadman, or DM for short; which is more sativa in function and has a unique bronchial-dilator trait, very expansive medicinal effect. I could get off from playing with those genes when Im able to.. my plan is to maybe self the afghan clone and breed it with deadman, or hopefully find a worthy landrace male to breed the deadman and get what I hopefully want..
or closer to the goal of the grail

met as many growers as I could "safely"..and developed a relationship with them...and when they needed something, I would trade mostly clones for seeds...you would be suprised what some people are holding in their seed vault...just some killer stuff......mostly its very hit and miss....but I have been super lucky with these trades.....Now I am just building of those with some of my crosses.......I have a killer Girl Scout "cherry" pheno that I crossed with my Blowfish x UK cheese male....that I am about to pop....both of these were from trades.....

Right now I plan on backing the crosses that seeded just now (BBxUW, HCxUW, PExWW) but I really want to know is how you guys get all of these badass seeds from ambitious breeders, I haven't seen too much of or been impressed with the few opportunities ive had for seeing/buying seeds.

I know there's websites and all but ive been put off by most of them though by this site it seems seedbay is the legit option but still for some reason I'm iffy or dont really know where the great stables specifically for me are...idk im high and venting but someone close to me is seeing DJ Short in Seattle soon so I'm sure we'll have seeds! :tiphat:

A whiles back I picked up a pack of MOD's Menage a Trois. I grew em out and found a short, bushy, potent, stinky, tasty Dreamgoddess pheno. She got hit with Sour Diesel IBL male. Then I grew some of those out and hit em with the sour pollen again. ((Dreamweaver x Godbud) x Sour Diesel IBL) bx1 (Sour Diesel IBL). Double diesel daddys keepin it sour, peace in proppin.

Another run of my first cross, will see if the honey flavor/aroma carries through again. If she ends up decently potent I may run another time to decide if I will keep, as she is also a decently heavy yielder. First run netted over 3.6 oz in a 2 gal pot.

click off some pics.....boy when you think about it this breeding stuff is all about a mystery!!!!!.....the 3 phenos I have that are female are all super.....you can see the relationship as sisters in them....but wow....they are different....I really thought the #4 was going to be the keeper....the smell of that one is way loud...a fuel..sweet...diesel...funky...earthy that will just overpower a room....it the smell that says "funk"........

The #6 is a animal...with excellent frosty yields....the frost is better than I have seen on any plant....completly covering the buds...sugar leaves...and about 1/2 the fan leaves...and the smell is there just more subtle.

The #1 is super interesting....I was going to dump it after the first run....but did not....now this run the buds are nearly white/lime green...with yellow hairs....so sexy looking....the frost/trichomes are nearly the same as the #6....yield is less....and smell is similar as #6 and subtle......

The high on all 3 is nearly the same....harvested at 20% amber, 80% cloudy......

IDK.....what all these crosses I made of this blowfish X Uk cheese....will be.....but I can tell you....that I am on the right track......everytime I go into my grow room....I am excited.

How in the hell did I miss this thread???? This is a GREAT idea for a thread.Especially for someone like me. I LOVE tossin pollen and then growing em out. Actually I like it MORE than popping seeds I purchased. Seems more exciting to me .I have a list of 84 crosses I have made over time. I won't list them all but here is a few. Killer Queen x Oger 99,Burmese Kush X Killer Queen,LA Con X Bogglegum, White Rhino X Sour Bubble,LUI 13 X White Rhino , Sour Lifesaver x Sour Diesel , Super Skunk x Sour Diesel , Super Lemon Haze x Oger 99, Ice x Oger 99 Sour Bubble x White Rhino, Blueberry X Sour Bubble, Blueberry X Sour Diesel,Sour Bubble x Shit, Shit x Sour Bubble,Shark Shock x Sour Bubble,and many many more. I actually must STOP buying seeds. I actually think I will because I have a boat load of beans that I have purchased to go through. Lots of Bodhi stuff has moved to the must pop list I think White Lotus should be first Or Roadkill Unicorn or Goji OG or Blue Lotus or Ancient OG damn, to many choices. How do you guys decide what to pop first???,along with more Bog,cannaventure, Dutchgrowns, ect ect. Glad I stumbled upon this thread,you will be seein more of me here.:tiphat:

This will be my 1st time tossing pollen. Ive got a Midnight Madness male (I believe it may be the 'Bertha' pheno) that Ive got tucked away. Im gonna try :

Super Lemon Haze x MM
Love Cheese x MM

And If I get enough pollen, Ill cross him back to his 2 sisters. 1 is definitely a different pheno. The other really still remains to be seen, but I think it may be yet another (the 'pole') pheno.

As far as which beans to pop 1st, may I suggest your oldest. It would be aweful to lose something special to the ravages of time.

EDIT: not a Bertha boy. And the pollen has been chucked!
