I am relatively new but do have a couple very successful grows under my belt. I think I am having some sort of Ca or Mag issue but I am not sure.
FFOF with some ammendments. recently transplanted and that is when the problem began.

Its not Cal cuz its starting from the bottom looks like Mag or N from the charts sulfur also starts at the bottom and causes yellowing but i dunno lets see what others think.

They showed no signs of deficiency when until they were up-canned to the new soil. That makes me believe it is due to a lock out of some sort.

flush them most that stuff on bottom i usally get rid of b4 flower they look pretty healthy.
after your done flushing maybe seamaiden or someone will chirp in.

I did flush one yesterday. Hoping it looks better then her sister by tomorrow. If so they will all get flushed. I am not very well set up for that. Gonna be an all day affair if I need to go there.

Cool man wish i could help more but ill let the pros deal with that if u look at my post u can see the start of cal tho so its not that you might want to put your temps ph runoff ect so these guys can help you better and good luck.

For flushing I get the 5 gal bucket lids that have a tall lip, drill about 30 1/4" holes on one side of the lid. Much easier and faster than bailing and mopping. Good luck. -granger

the new soil may be a bit hot , which normally shows on old leaves but the rest of your plant is fine , i would pull the effected leaves off , not flush carry on as normal then flush if the new growth is effected

Thank you. I did flush the smallest plant already so at least I can keep an eye on it to see if it helps. The soil is definitely on the hot side but overall the new growth all looks pretty good. I am thinking FFOF is hotter than Blue Ribbon to begin with. Hopefully it will work itself out. The progression was so quick it gave me a good scare.

Just me but I never pulled a leaf off that's showing signs of deficiency ......that's the way the plant handles things on it's own, I only remove dead leaves from the plant!

Let me explain that a little, if you pull off the leaf if the plant has a deficiency it will start pulling nutes from another leaf, causing some to think the problem is progressing ...some will add more nutes then compile their problems! I let the plant pull the nutes it needs to correct what's wrong, then after the leaf dies if it doesn't fall off on it's own I'll pull it off.

The affected leaves are not showing any signs of healing, didn't expect them to. It seems to have quit spreading though.
I think the FFOF is hotter to begin with than the soil I have been using. When I amended with what I usually do it became too 'hot'. I believe this caused a temp lock-out. Either that or it is because I didn't let it sit for a couple weeks to cure before using it.
Does either of these theories sound plausible? I don't want to put my babies through this again but I still have a few cubic feet of it left, thinking about cutting it with some more soil and trying it on a single plant.
I believe if it is/was a deficiency, it was caused by a lockout not lack of it being there. Possibly pH jumped for a while since the mix was too fresh?

Here's a tip, try to keep the same type of soilmix for veg and bloom .....roots really don't like the change of scenery! I have a homie who plants his seedlings and cuts in FFOF and he never has a problem with it being too hot or anything else (I started to advice him to switch but if it ain't broke, don't fix it!) I used to put established plants in it and sometimes they'd burn, since I've been using the same type of mix in veg and bloom my ladies are alot happier all the way thru to harvest!

Thank you, I like this.
I have been putting my starts into Blue Ribbon until they come out of 1 gallon pots then they get highly amended Blue Ribbon. However, everyone has been complaining about fungus gnats so the local hydro store decided to quit carrying it. Therefore, I switched to FFOF.
I also mixed and then planted instead of giving it time to cure like I usually do. The good news is they seem to be adjusting to it now. Also, my tried and true babies showed almost no symptoms while every other plant did. Hmm, she is my most forgiving and she produces the best smoke...no wonder she is my favorite.:tiphat:
