I have bad news for Mr. Holder. The Federal prisons in the US are already near max capacity, lol.....

Personally, I'll wait for a statement from the President. He vowed that he'd let the States determine what they do regarding Cannabis legalization. Backtracking on that would hurt him dearly come the election in 2012. Not only would he lose Cali, but all other med states would look differently on him.

He has to know that this would be political suicide. Losing Cali alone could cost him the election with his plummeting ratings....

He's got to be praying this initiative fails, lol...... The time might finally be here to see if he's a man of his word.....

Pass Prop 19 ignore scare tactics and fear propaganda!!

Pass Prop 19 ignore scare tactics and fear propaganda!!

At this point Californians need to pass prop 19 just to take a strong stance. All of this talk about old laws being enforced anyways after the citizens have spoken is just fear tactics. California, do not let yourself get bossed around by the federal government. Show weakness now, and you take a step backwards. Prop 215 will be spit upon by the federal government even more. The federal government must realize they have no say in your states rights.

THE PEOPLE CONTROL THE GOVERNMENT! So control it.

as much as i want this to pass (and i dont live in CA), i have to say...even if it passes...you got the feds making a decision: continue on current path (using legal loopholes for occasional raids) or go full-force and take down any and all marijuana facilities....think about it...if they're going to go after the med clubs with taxes as a loophole, best be damned sure they are going to do the same for recreational ones...then, to top that off, with federal law directly prohibiting any use, if they go after the recreational users they will have to go after medical patients as well...both are against federal law...they can't target one and not the other.

^keep over growing, they already cant control it obviously, it is only gonna get harder when prop 19 passes and it scares the shit out of them. There is a lot of LEO and other Bureaucrats are fighting for their useless jobs right now. These are the death throws of the dying anti marijuana majority. welcome to a pro pot world. live in vote like you are in it.

I am Voting Yes and so are all of my friends that are able to vote and I personally know a few local police officers and they are surprisingly for it, I was told because it was a hassle always having to set court dates for small infractions like roaches in the ashtray and whatnot. Why would any sane person vote NO to more Freedom?

Most Unselfish post I have read all week, :tiphat:
.....Well I probably won't be shipping many seeds to California anymore.....since if cannabis is legal to be sold in California, then so would the seeds of the plant be.....and I for-see many new seed companies sprouting up in California with many new and older breeders/seed makers supplying them and most probably distributing the seeds through-out California and possibly the rest of the USA from there....which is all good.....it will grow more growers and breed more breeders.....

So unless I am prepared to set up a seed distribution point within California (if Prop 19 passes)......I expect to see a drop in seed sales.....but that doesn't really concern me because there is a FAR BIGGER PICTURE HERE than me loosing some business income.....

Prop 19 passing will mean that responsible adults in California will be able to GROW CANNABIS and SMOKE/CONSUME CANNABIS.....without risking their LIBERTY and FUTURE!!

....so if you are Californian......and able to vote.....please VOTE YES TO PROPOSITION 19!!!

I just saw a show called "FrontLines" on Free speach TV that was really well done. I set my dvr to record anything that pulled up the keyword "marijuana" and you would be surprised how many times it comes up! This is this first real current thing though. It even talks about Holder's letter. If I can find it on the net I will post a link.

I spent two weeks back in Cali recently and I went on a campaign educating the smokers I ran into about the need to vote. I also smoked 6-8 different "medicinal" strains and got to witness the cute Bosnian girls shilling for Kush Doctor at Venice Beach.

"Medeeecal Mareeewanna!"

"Get your card inside, get your mareeewanna around the corner!"

Luckily, I know a guy who was friends with a dispensary owner and I didn't have to bother with the formalities.

This is going to pass. All because of me. You're all welcome.

Heh.

VOTE YES, BITCHES!

Yeah. I watched the same program today. Taped sometime last night. I didn't even know I HAD free speech tv. Never heard of it. But "marijuana" gets DVR priority over everything else in my queue.

(Unfortunately, this gets me a lot of lame Cops episodes that I don't want, and every single damn time Comedy Central shows "How High" or "Half Baked" it friggin tapes. Small price to pay, though.)

I know, right! I had an episode of Good Times the other day!! I've gotten the actual reefer madness full length movie, Dukes of Hazzard, I discovered "Bored to Death" this way and like you say a ton of cops episodes. I also had no idea that there was such a thing as free speech tv. Even though I don't watch 90% of the shit my dvr records I am entertained by the sheer number of shows that come up with that keyword. I think I am going to switch it over to only new programing though now that the "wow, hmmm" novelty is wearing off. I doubt there is anything of importance out there that I haven't seen yet.

O, and thanks Anti for single handedly turning the tide while in Cali!

biggest enemies:

they just don't have the resources to do this man, and once Prop 19 passes, Mexico will soon follow, to end THEIR drug war, ...then other states will come on board as well.

so think a little more deeply before you get so caught up in stressing over the impossible.

peace, and stay safe, it won't be legal for another 2 weeks, SOG
