Man....Just finished my new room, spent a bunch of money on a fujitsu 33k mini split, $1200 dehuey, co2/ the works. This bitch is dialed. A week ago I transplanted a bunch of my platinum OG cuts into 5.25 inch pots. They're one week in and not looking too happy. There's roots coming out the bottoms but in the last couple days They seemed to be going pale and yellow on me. Purple/burgundy Spotted leaves and what looked like a mag deficiency.
Today I'm in there doing some pruning and I realize the majority of the new growth has TMV. FML. So bitter nright now but I think I'll just finish this round out anyways just gonna keep my fingers crossed that everything goes good...

Yeah it def could be some sort of deficiency but I don't see what? After the cuts show roots they get transplanted into 5.25 inch pots and then I hit them with
4 ml a gallon of canna A/B
2ml a gallon of cal/mg
7.5 ml per gallon of canna rhizo
.5 ml per gallon roots exc.
I used tap water that has 60 ppms . ph was at 6.0 and nutes mixed measured 800 on my Hanna meter. Each one was fed 600 ml of water and I waited until they dried out to water again.
I tp/d another room (not sealed so no co2) at the same time and those plants are taking off. The room with issues has 4- 500 w lights covering 4- 4x4 trays and one 2x4
Regardless of if they have deficiencies they def have TMV. It's weird because I don't smoke cigarettes at all so Not too sure on how this started. Thanks for the input but my main concern is the TMV that shit can't be fixed!

its not tmv man dont worry. my boy thinks its broad mites but its just an og kush thing.. the chem d does it as well.
but my tahoe and valley and a few others always do it. its weird. dont worry, its just a trait.

I've had simalar probs with og's and more often than not adding 1/2 tsp gal. Of Epsom salts fixes the issues. Food for thought, good luck!

what medium do you grow in? og's are hard to keep healthy. you gotta kinda figure it out.. took me forever i just got it down, ive lost sooo many too health, i would mother em out and then they would go to shoot and i wouldnt even be able to get cuts from em. a lot of wasted time trying to mother em.

They're In coco. Realistically I've ran this strain for almost 2 years now. My mothers are probably about 8 months old so don't really have an issue growing them so long as I don't hit them hard with the ppms this early. Normlly I wouldn't be worried but since they're so young and these are the only cuts I have LOL lets just say Im KINDA worried.
Weird thing is I have a couple bigger plants on the floor in that room and it seems since they got put in there that they've started kinda going downhill as well. It's only this this room too vie got a couple others full of the same og and they're doing great. I'm Fucking baffled here I feel like just scrapping all the cuts and starting over so I don't waste anymore time...

the ogs and chemd will show the leaf curl thing with the splotchty discolaration

i think crazy composer thought it was due to light poisoning (too much light)
with the ogs and chemd though i have not had one bad experience with buds coming out bad or faulty (except for when the cut sucked!!!!).
it might be a mosiac trait it might just be a sign of deficiency in the particular cultivar...
bottom line is, in my experience (which is ancedotal apparently hahahaha) the buds will be fine the plants should be fine not really much to worry about. its part of the og experience
that said i can truly appreciate youre concerns.
i broght in some ogs and chems into my indoor room some years ago and i watched the trait miraculously appear on a grape romulan plant that had not ever showed the trait before.... recently got the grape rom back and its still showing the sign....

NorCal, a lot of my OGs and OG crosses do that. Like everyone else says. It's what they do.

Is the platinum og a legit og ? Cuts are going around my town but iv never herd of it. Any one have any info on it?
