glad im not the only one that realized the skywalker is one of the superior og's, the real deal skywalker that is. its played out cuz theres a lot of fakes but that real one is hard to beat. very lovely plant. cool to see the big ogr rocking it.

i used to pass on it a lot cuz it was so accessible but once i seen how dank the buds are on the real cut i had to get a few to rock. might be my main og.

and i would like to hear more info on the irene cut. i got one and its a stretchy ass girl. someone said its the sfv but whatever i have doesnt look like sfv.. like a lengthy fast growing stretcher so far.

Actually, OG has been sold here on the east coast for quite some time now. Comes in along with blue dream, GDP, and other commercial cali types. It just doesn't fetch as high a price as sour diesel or haze. The OG kushes that I've seen just aren't as pungent as the sour diesel, they smell like a bland/watered down version of it, and usually end up being referred to as just "sour" by the people selling it. So for all the hype created on the boards regarding OG kush, I'm a bit disappointed. Maybe I've just not come across a good representitive of it yet. I hear the Skywalker OG is really good but have yet to try it.

We have many kushes here on the east coast for the last 4 years or soo ive seen alot of outdoor/GH grown kush which i believe is from cali .When i first started seeing it we were getting Headband SD an kush i liked the HB best .NO question this was coming from Cali i know for a fact .The cat i use to get it from i dont see anymore but we see a kush now which is similar but inferior quality


Also a majority of kush i think is from canada an commercial .We got that coffe kush that is bubba type an oftens purps than we got that grapey pissy kush that i think is hindu .Both i know are merc an i believe from uptop but we get that Cali ish aswell .But ive smoked other kush types which isnt as common an flavors range from fruitloops / pinesol / fuel


IME what we got that was called Diesel which everyone thought or started callin sour i later believe to be ChemDawg aka Diesel shits on the Kush ive smoked .BUt i have smoked other kushges which arent as common an


Disappointed i hear ya the whole kush craze bores me its an old story ,im into her darker flavors an much prefer a true kush

But im sure the Og kushes arent as heavily circulated on the east coast as cali .Its all who you know n where your at an the whole culture an laxed laws on the west have allowed many folk the pleasure of embracing the sacred herb an access to many elites

ya that shit died the day the skywalker og came out. im talking about the real skywalker og.. people keep calling that blueberry x mazar skywalker og, actually got some in flower right now cuz i i got it as skywalker og and it turned out to be the regular ole skywalker. second time this happened actually. glad i got the real one though.

jack - i havent done pics just cuz im a dummy when it comes to that but ill make it happen, the majority i got recently so theyre still in veg or being motherd out. a few in flower. ill post veg pics though cuz lately ive been really noticing all the differences in veg. they used to all look the same to me but now im starting to see all the differences. ill get pics up of as many as i can so people can get an idea of leaf structures and branching and all the differences of all the different ones. ill make it happen this week.

Of course Skywalker og is better, it has OG crossed into it; and I think the is mazar bb x mazar, not skunk, I was mistaken before. anyways Mazar is just an IBL land race from Mazar, and why anyone would want to cross that with Dj's BB is beyond me. I would much rather just have a DJ short blueberry x original OG kush if I am going that direction.

lol it was named skywalker because a guy named luke grew it, not because its crossed to skywalker (mazarXblueberry)

yeah i hate when people try to tell me the skywalker og is the blueberry mazar x og.. take one look at it and you can tell its pure og.. even a more sativaish og, nothing like a blueberry or a mazar but the sad thing is i think someone that thought it was that tried to remake it and crossed og to the original skywalker.. and then people also call that original skywalker skywalker og, its a mess but that true skywalker og is a very special plant.

the luke story is true. he called it skywalker cuz his name was luke, prolly never even heard of the blueberry mazar, he was a commercial grower, prolly one of the first pumpin out the og packs before the med scene went crazy.

my cut looks so freakin nice. hardier stems then usual og's and fatter blades on the leaves, super lush green and healthy looking.. stretchy but not as stretchy as the others.. ill get pics up. i got it as private reserve skywalker from one of the original people that had it..

the blueberry mazar skywalker i have in flower for the second time.. last time i did a whole room of 6 lights of it cuz the guy told me it was skywalker og. i was so pissed but it is a supper fast growing east plant.. grows itself and gets huge, yields giant colas that fill all the way in.. nice afghani buds with a slight berry smell.. nothing close to an og kush as far as dankness though so not worth it to even run if you got access.


i also have a question about the triangle. not positive if mine is legit yet.. but it has a telltale sign in the leaves, sometimes some of the lower leaves, and the lower blades on the leaves get all wicked and curve making the leaf look like a smiley face or all evil like. might be a slight deficiency that makes it do that cuz usually those leaves turn a little yellow and its only one or two? has anyone seen this or not at all? this is what is gonna tell me if its legit or not.

Ive been hearing that skywalker (og) is fire but have yet to come across any to sample. A friend had a couple cuts and gifted me one but theres no way it was og. It was actually alot more indica dominant. Was good smoke but nothing like the skywalker pictures I've seen around that resembled a true OG.

I heard through some friends that the sky walker name came from a few growers who always grew the same cut and their friend Luke was the one who consistently had the best buds out if the circle. They named it sky walker after him and the name stuck....not sure how true this story Is but just figured i'd throw it out there....

At this point I've learned to pretty much just make my own og cuts of the mom I have because it's a nice representation of a true og and i won't be disappointed running a room full of something when it turns out not ot be anything like an OG.

I suspect a lot of what I had got before was just beans that were popped by clone vendors and cuts taken off the females. No phenotype selection of any kind. I almost feel like it was easier to get the real deal ogs back in the days before all these watered down versions came onto the market.

What you described reminds me of the Private Reserve OG Kush.

-P.R OG A.K.A Private Reserve O.G= Another O.G cut that ORGNKID brought into the scene. The cut was sold to Med patients as Private Reserve O.G through the now defunct C.A.L.M disp. of Malibu.

that private reserve eludes me, i used to get buds from my collective and that was their top shelf.. some of the best og buds ever so i chased the clone down, got it once and my friend killed it. then a few times i realized what people were trying to give me as pr og was actually reserva privada og lmao. but ive actually been going back and forth with a guy trying to go pick it up but everytime hes ready i cant make it lol. the buds i remember were really bomb looking, but the best part was the stone, it was really strong.. havent seen it grow though, i wonder if my cut has anything to do with the private reserve cuz they were caling it private reserve skywalker, i thought they called it that to seperate it from all the fakes. i got a 3 different skywalker ogs though so ill check out all the differences.

The story of Luke was the start of the name game. My Israeli friends pretty much run the crew these days and have the same cut Luke made infamous. Its just OG guys and gals, more specifically what was known as the "G" cut, properly grown.

I thought that was why people called the PR OG more of a Chem/OG than an OG like Fire/Tahoe/Larry/SFV.

PR OG grew easier and cloned easier than the other OGs for me when I had it.

i wonder if my cut has anything to do with the private reserve cuz they were caling it private reserve skywalker

I never grew Skywalker OG but it sounds like it could have been PR OG flowers from a grow "Luke" did.

Private Reserve Skywalker to know what cut and what grower... Like a brand But I'm just guessing
