Yeah, my buddy is 55, been smoking herb since he was 12 or 13. Heavy toker. He was diagnosed with malignant melanoma last year. Had a big chunk of his shoulder removed, along with some lymph nodes and a skin graft. Poor bastard has been on Interferon, which screws with his blood forcing him to take Coumadin. He can go off the Coumadin once he finishes with the Interferon.
Sorry to hear Welder Dan. Did he smoke cigarettes for years as well?
i've read a few articles that summarise studies that mention THC inhibits the growth of cancerous tumours, except their subjects are always defined as average tokers (i.e. one to three times a month)..
so i'm wondering if as frequent users we are "protected" in any way from cancers...
Please tell us if you know of someone who contracted a form of cancer and that person was a habitual marijuana smoker...
I been grooving almost 50 years now and just last year had skin cancer removed from my arm in several places. Basal cell carcinoma is what was removed.
