Its been unbelievable the last few days. The growth has doubled day by day. Im very happy with how things are going. I was a little nervous but i did some training with the last grow, just not to this extreme.

They have been growing great. No need to change the rez right now. PPM is @ 2300 and PH is @ 5.3 I will be cutting clones soon and ive started one BOG Lifesaver seed. I will be posting for that on BOG's Threads.

My PPM has been round 2000 since sep 18 with no rez change. Ive gotten explosive growth and water level is good so I haven't changed it. When I switch to my bloom in the next day or two should the PPM stay around that and go up, start lower and go up or go down from there? Thanks

Don't see any indicators of burnage, so you're room dynamics and nute profile/concentration
seem to be in balance.

Is there anything you want to change? Like, 'Geeze, even though everything is green, my leaves look limp' or 'There's a hint of tip burn'?

If you are happy, be happy.

It would be fun for me to watch you drop the EC down to like 1.2, and monitored the temp/humidity in your room for changes and indications of increased transpiration.

But not everyone thinks my idea of fun is, well, fun.

Today is 10-10-2010. What better day to switch to 12n12 and take clones. I have a clean sterile environment to take cuts and im using clonex. I also have a bubble cloner. Heres some pics.

I’m 15 days into veg w/ 4 PPP….gotta say that LSTing these little darlings is quite something….they sure do build a thick stem. I’d planned to SCroG, but we’ll make that decision in another week or two.

What was your total Veg time?

Dude you have really done it HUGE. The plants reacted so so nicely to the training and they filled nice!!! I am loving that BOG selection you have. I've been eye balling that one and the Sour Bubble. I will be stalking this grow Great Fucking Job!

NICE!! Funny thing is that I noticed the longer the solution goes unchanged then the more they eat. I will try running my solution longer this time. As for the Bloom feed. Some may say nay but I would run them on straight tap for 3 days. I usually run mine bare for a week in potting mix but I'll try only 3 days in hydro.

Hey GWE, during bloom bro. When you flip you have a 2 week window where they really stretch out. I usually run them with no nutes for potting mix during the first week in bloom. Just ph'ed. Though in hydro the plants will feel the lack of nutes and react faster but I think a 2 to 3 day hydro flush during the first few days of bloom then BAM bloom nutes right when shes begging for it. Then another 2 to 3 day flush at 30 days. I think 2 days is safer in heavy bloom but I could have benefited from a mid bloom flush in my last grow bro.

Well it looks like I have a couple big hairy meaty veiny COCKS in the garden. 2 of the 3 PPPs are males. Shitty. Ill wait just to make sure in the next couple days. If its true it will take a little of a load off, now I dont have to save all 3 and find the better of all of them. I will be able to start another Lifesaver or Ganeshes "Deep Chunk X Usbeki X OG Kush BX1.

Small Problem?

My new system is finally completed and I hooked up a 550gph pump for the 1/2in feed lines. My drain lines are 3/4in. Its to much power or my drain lines are too small because the pump fills the buckets to fast and they will overflow. I put a 250gph pump in and it does the same thing. I just bought this tiny 66gph pump. Hope this works. Heres some pics.

I figure as long as the nutes are distributed then im fine.

Heres some more pics I really dont know what to do about this one. Its got to be physics. The 66 wont even make water come out of all the feed tubes. Maybe the feed line manifold should be a different way? All the water rushes to the end T. Again I have no idea. The 1st one I built had no problems. Its so slow to drain?

A tedious (but possibly effective solution) would be to install ball valves at each inlet and dial them in to the desired flow rate at each bucket. Might be harder on your pump, but based on the last few posts, it looks like you might have a spare.

Alternatively, get an inline (tee into it) and pull through your bucket's outflow rather than push. (UC style.)

That sound like a great idea. I absolutely love this site for these reasons alone. Thanks Friend. I am still open to more suggestions even though that sound like it will work just fine. PS: Just thought about that. If I make the pump pull from the drain lines and go to the feed lines wouldn't that get rid of the res all together? Keep em coming. Thanks again.
