Just thought id say a quick hi. Used to be a member back on Overgrow befor it got shut down. I've been on IC on and off but hadnt registered an account until now. I am a medical grower in Norther Colorado managing a 75,000 watt grow for a dispensary in the Boulder area. Glad to be here and excited to share what I know and learn some new info/tactics. Currently I am working on expanding my knowledge of true or "TLO" organic growing methods.

Lol, yeah unfortunately I've become somewhat of a weekend warrior but to be honest, this is one of the worst starts to a ski season we have had since I've lived in this state!

just a quick picture to get things started. Here is our first try at growing out Grand Fire OG. I don't remember which breeder it came from, someone who is affiliated with the late Oaksterdam university. Out of a 6-pack of seeds this was the only female we got, lucky us! Still curing at this point, the taste is sweet and earthy and the buzz is pretty mellow, definitely more indica.

Warmest of welcomes fellow cannaphile & neighbor!! Glad you found your way home!

I'm not big on cold weather, but the lack of snow, really is worrisome.
…And ‘they' were finally predicting a “normal” winter! :tumbleweed: Hopefully my 'snow dancing' works and it will come soon. :dance013:

…Annoyed that we lost the “race" to legalize to WA…Damn you, Hickenlooper! *shaking my fist angrily*
Ehhh, who am I kidding; it’s really just another excuse to say his name in anger… I find it extremely satisfying…He’s the Newman to my Seinfeld. I loved the irony of his comment election night: 'don’t break out the cheetos and goldfish just yet’…yeah, two things w/ far more (negative) health consequences than cannabis!! (And w/ none of the positives, aside from being yummy.)

I can’t pass though w/o complimenting your work on the Grand Fire OG; nice work!
Enjoy your stay, COrganic

Guinea, currently we are running AN Iguana bloom along with Organic B, Hum Bolt Humic, SensiCal bloom, Roots HPK, Nirvana, Top Max, Sucanat (evaporated cane sugar), Carboload, seaplex, dark energy, and hygrozyme. Although we have a couple inorganic products (sensical, nirvana, carboload) we are working towards runnning all organic nutes. This is of course a soup-style organic grow using humic acid as a chelating agent. I would love to get a lab test on our soil to see what kind of microbes we are sustaining - figure out if it's worth it or not to be using products such as great white, tarantula, and piranha. It is my understanding that any inorganic stuff can really throw the microbes/fungus out of whack. It's been a colaboration with another grower to get to this point with our nutrients and we have gotten yields as high as 1.93lbs/1000 watt light so I'm not complaining although the closer we can get to truely organic buds, the better I think.

My personal garden is sort of an experiment at the moment running the same program excluding the synthetics. So far so good, and I am also running a couple plants TLO style with layered and spiked containers only feeding RO/Teas. The TLO plants appear to be just as healthy as any of my other plants which reinforces my beliefe that the closer I can get to true organics, the better. In addition I have been foliar feeding with both Nitrozime and Farmer Franks 30% organic fulvic acid which has proven to be an amazing addition to the regular nutrient program. This is my first round trying this foliar combo so I cant say whether or not it will end up augmenting my yields.

And Natty, Id agree, we got about 5 inches of snow two nights ago and another few last night and it's been snowing all day. Keep up that snow dance!

What's up bro ? Welcome ! I'll be in Boulder the 29th for Yonder and in Broomfeild the 30th and 31st for some Cheese ! Can't wait ! This summer went to Phish and Furthur shows, I scored some beans from a dispensary called the Station. The strains were Sour Cal, Al's Dream, and Fionna. Got info on these girls?

That's great, wish I was going to see some of those shows, we'll have to see when the time comes. Last time I saw Yonder was two summers ago at Red Rocks and it was AWESOME. As for The Station, I have heard good things but never been there myself. I did get a chance to smoke some tea-grown Super Lemon Haze from them which was amazing. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with any of the three strains you mentioned though, good luck!
