What size tote are you going to finish with? You'll see nice growth, going from those tiny pots to 5gal's! I love the instant growth from 0.5gal to 2gal and then again into 5gal's. The roots love to go! Did you mix the soil right there on the tarp? How was that? I may try that vs getting a kitty pool in January when I do a super soil mix.

wasn't bad at all mixing on the tarp......

Final totes will be 30 gallons:biggrin:

Question then - Why'd you go with totes now vs round pots? And badass re the 30's!

Totally agree about half time next time! Just like doing activities that your building is designed for! There is book time, and then there is practiced time.

nice...yeah, it always takes longer than expected the first time around......It's done now and lessons have been learned for the next time around..

I like the idea of the 1/2 and 1/2 growth...heehhe..going for the bushes...:D...you'll be able to see which ones are the strong phenotypes. Hopefully they are from a diverse enough stock that there will be ones to choose from... Cut some clones from the strong, good growing girls and you can start up a perpetual grow going there..:)

Looks fantastic so far.....

Good Luck and may the growing Gods smile their good fortunes upon you...heheh

Just went to check on my ladies, all is well. 7 hours into there 18/6. Veg room is at 75% humidity and 79 degrees. Flower room is at 78 degrees and 72% humidity. Probably let the girls settle in for 2-3 days and then start training:woohoo:

I'll keep you guys up to date as things progress.......

Nice set up! Just a little thought for what its worth, if you're at 72-75% RH at this stage you'll be awfully high (haha) once they're in full swing. I haven't had much issue w 70% RH in veg (although I am usually lower)but in flwr bad things can happen and respiration is more efficient at a little lower RH. I keep my dehuey pegged at 50. And carbon filters don't work as well at 70%...

Cant wait to see em come along.

I just added a second 1k, both on a light mover, will post pics (no plants) tomorrow in my AHU air handling unit thread. If you've seen it, it is a scaled down version of what they do in Holland. I also have my bottled CO2 injected into the system now. Really is amazing what it has done.

Thanks Doc!!:tiphat:

Yup, cause it's my first run both rooms are free for vegging. After that one dedicated flower room and one dedicated veg room.

Obviously now that things are up and running I'm just seeing what the rooms need as far as maintaining the proper humidity and such, went a got a Danby 60 Pint Dehumidifer for lights off as humidity was creeping up.

Had bought a cheepy humidifier until my half decent one shows up but its no good as it's either on or off and it can't be used with my controller as it won't turn back on by itself. So just gunna return it. Hopefully my other humidifier shows up in the next week or so??? Then I can set it for 60% humidity during lights on and not have to worry about humidity getting to high as it will cycle itself on and off. Then once I have more cash this unit will be put in the veg room and I'll get a Hydrofogger for the flower room.

And your absolutely right Doc, girls have absolutely exploded under the Gavita's!!!:woohoo: I would say most have at least doubled in size and some have tripled!!!!!! Not bad for 3 days after transplant:biggrin: The ones under T5's are good but like expected showing slow growth, plus I put the smallest plants under the T5's since they have 3 months to veg!!

Beautiful!!!!!!!!! I'm sure doc has told you the wonders of super-cropping and how it benefits the plant..I'll try to remember to take some pictures of some of the nodes I did it to so you can see the difference.. The actual node site looks about 50% bigger for better flow of nutrients..:)..

Looking great so far..

Sounds like you got this planned pretty darn good! Yeah most dehueys and portable a/c units don't come back on unless they are grow room specific. Even then you gotta double check.

First setup? I'm amazed. If you're going to do something, do it right! Great job! I'm really excited for you. I want to build something like this someday. Gotta earn some money to make this possible!
