very true.. OG x f1 durbs has been done.. so in a perfect world I could beef up the F1 with the blueberry and hopefully carry through aroma and flavor somewhat.. then take the legend and beef it up with the NL get a more bulky lemony yielding legend and hit it to the blueberry Durban F1.. basically a similar recipe to cookies with some of the orig. Ingredients. who knows what would actually happen though. How ever I'm blessed to have certain cuts and unfortunately or fortunately less than a handful of people will bee receiving anything durban & they're fully informed so didn't think it would matter.i figured I'd rather peg that name before some other great lakes cat jacks it.

Possibilities are endless...that is a nice task to undertake. Good luck TPFTFW. U may even get a better yielder cookies

trimming lemon kush makes you feel like you are in a candy factory making lemon heads

but it is not an OG

maybe a lemony Kush is in her, but the world may never know

excuse my ignorance but what's the difference between an og cut and a "kush" or for this example lemon kush?

do you have the legend and the f1 durb? didnt know anyone really had the f1 durb except for the few people that do lol.

and static shock.. the difference between an og and a kush is the og's arent really kush's. they just got that tag cuz in LA the word kush is the same as chronic or just fire dank so they called it og kush, i mean argueably theres some kush in there maybe 25% but it really isnt a kush strain. just has the name.

now the kush's are more indica knockout hashplants.. afghanis and pakis.. like master kush and bubba kush. so if its called kush and not og like lemon kush and not lemon og, i'd assume it was more of a straight indica like a bubba. some people prefer the good ole kush's. i, myself love that real kush, imo its everything i think weed should be. when i think of pot i think of kush's lol

There is no kush in OG. OG is just that, OG. Kush has a very distinct smell/taste. it's hard to describe but those who have smoked kush know the kush characteristics.

Any of you have any experience with chimeras lemon?

No sir.. BUT...

This is kind of off topic but back in like 03 i think, I smoked some stuff labeled as Lemon Ice and HOLY FUCK. I felt like I was sucking on Lemon infused arctic air lol. The smoke was sooooo lemony it was insane. It litereally made the smoke taste "cold" I guess you could say. To this day I have never been able to find anything like it. I remember it so well too because we smoked so much of it over thanksgiving at Glamis that year.

Hey There Slauson,

Might I also add that "Kush" refers to the Hindu Kush Mountain system in Asia where the indigenous cannabis genetic grows short and squat, with characteristically wider blades on the fan leaves as well as tight inter-nodal spacing. The physical stature of the landrace is due to the rugged terrain on which they grow, often times on steep mountain sides where they receive just a few hours of direct sun light each day and must endure extreme temperature swings.

Slauson is correct about the term "Kush" being synonymous with chronic, fire, or dank here in L.A., and about OG not being a Kush.
I dont really know why people love the term Kush so much, I guess because it's a four letter word.

I was hoping someone would ask this question. :)

Kush is a sativa indica mix even in Afghanistan. I read that somewhere by a guy that traveled there and documented all the cannabis many years back.

Indica is the cultivar and sativa is wild. Kush is somewhere in the middle and is not a squat plant but looks more like the so called Kush we have in California.

Would you please be so kind as to find this document. I would very much like to read that information. There is definitely a bit of confusion about classifications of Cannabis, I am always trying to read as much information on Cannabis classifications to try and straighten things out.

I can however tell you that the classifications of indica and sativa have nothing to do with being wild or a cultivar, their classifications are based on locality of the landrace and physical characteristics.

so to be a kush it has to come from the hindu kush mountains? or has kush become a specific type that could be from anywhere in that region, afghanistan, pakistan, nepal, etc? i know some pakis are kush's so does the hindu kush mountains go through pakistan as well or just afghanistan?

can afghani/kush be one in the same or are they different?

are there any superior indicas that arent from afghanistan and that region? or is that the only region that produces indicas?

to me, kush is a specific type of plant that has specific traits, such as afghani traits, definitely a hashplant, earthy natural meaty tough smell, fruity undertones. strong potent high. fat ass leaves. deep chunk and bubba are what i think of when i think of kush. strains like that.

and i know theres sativas in that region especially nepal and south india.. ive seen afghanis that are pure sativas but i think most are pure indicas? maybe im wrong and they do have some sativa in em i just dont think so.

but now kush has become like the chemmy, fuel, pine sol funk of the og, chem, diesel lines.. now people will call things kush based off of og when really they should be chems and not kush. the kush family and chem family are not the same but both top notch pot.

has anyone seen any real good hindu kush? on the level of socal master and bubba?

oh and i came up on church og? any info? i seen it in the clubs and its always one of the better og's. hopefully this cut is the same that produced all those b uds i seen.

I believe my earlier post was a little unclear, needed to be amended, and explained more thoroughly. I should have said the genetics from the Hindu Kush Mountain range from what was explained to me by my mentors , were in fact, shorter with tighter inter-nodal spacing than equatorial sativa's. The mountain kush.

The Hindu Kush Mountains traverse three different countries in EurAsia; Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India to the south. There are genetics from all three countries with varying physical characteristics. I know the landraces originating in areas touched by this mountain range, were referred to as Kush before the name was quasi co-opted by the "kush craze" of the 90's and 2000's, when chronic, a term used to described high quality cannabis, was replaced with "Kush", for reasons unknown to me.

The term 'Kush" is really a geographical reference to cannabis from this region.

Yesum-
I don't know why I always defer to the term "squat" when describing plant cultivars with a shorter stature than OG. I compare everything to OG since its tall lanky physique is what I am used to. After OG everything seems "squat". I need to stop.

Slauson. The Church is the name of an Indica dominant greenhouse seed company product. The Church OG is name game B.S..
