fresh249 - ive had my hands on some elites in the past. some of my favorites that might still be around are chemdog, ecsd, kk strawberry cough, mango haze and others.
i know some people who are always making seeds from killer gear. i got a nice seed stash right now. i know ill find some killer shit in them.

ive had issues in the past receiving clones. so im going to stick to seeds. sometimes the people you get the clones from dont even know they have a problem... or in some cases, they will have you meet them, and tell you after you drove afew hours that they have mites and other pests... so just beware. sometimes getting that strain you always wanted could lead to a fucked up garden.

i hope everyone else is doing good.

you need to get some avid and floramite mix that shit together you will NEVER have any issues with bugs again. havnt had any spider mites in over a year up here

friedchickn - welcome. we'r glad to have you. what types of strains are you running? feel free to post up pics.

ive been using floramite for years. havent seen a mite since i started using it.

i was throwing it out as a warning. id rather tell someone to be careful then see them run into problems.

@ FRESH: most def there are some killer elites in our area as FatBlunt has said but there is one other that i had a few years back called M.O.B (Mother Of Berry) and i know that cut is still floating around our area and its some damn fine flower.

Im with you FatBlunt im leaning away from clones cause i just had a nasty battle with spider-mites due to another person handing me some clones (Dunno which clone was infected) but i had to trash all my mothers. Too much of a battle and i still have clones perserved in the dome so i didnt loose em all but i did loose enough. Im grateful those fuckers didnt hit the flowering tent. Got done bleaching everything even the flowering tent just to play it safe.

hey guys..from Ma and excited about the new laws taking effect..big plans... now we can get some great clones goin round this area for trade and sale like the other great med states..(and legal states)...seeds can be shipped here.. and the whole thing jus gets less shady.. i love it.. so how about we get this started with a bang this year..how do we go about getting together a medical cup for MA??? do we sign a petition? get a permit? or write to norml and high times? what are the channels for something like this...im sure there are plenty of great venues that would work...or jus do it at my house hahaha! lets get this together folks...we have been known to have the best, most loyal, and most enthusiastic fans out there.. imagine massachusetts throwing an event like a medical cup??? we may have to move our grows inside after barely a season but i will say i have smoked buds grown here that could compete anywhere...show'em what we got MA!!! 1st Annual High Times Medical Marijuana Cup 2013!!!

@ NE978

I'm weary of picking up clones myself but avid is a phenomenal product when it comes to mites and there eggs. Before introducing foreign plants to a garden I would hit them with the avid and the mites will not survive.

BTW I sent you a PM the other day and I'd appreciate your input or advise in that matter.

Thanks

fried chickn - sounds like you have a nice setup. great strains. i ran strawberry cough for awhile, its a great smoke.

i checked into the hockey lock out the other day... its not going good. they r trying to salvage a season, but at this rate. both sides are not agreeing.
it pisses me off. because the only sport i like(hockey) i wont be able to see this year... they better figure it out soon.

i am looking forward to the ice and some pond hockey.

I played for years, I miss it when there isn't a season. Yeah its not looking good, they just canceled the All-star weekend!

As for my Setup its been a few years of hardwork and struggle. I went to college for Horticulture so the knowledge of plants is there, its just been a nice little learning curve for setup and systems...

Thanks guys, I am impressed with the growth in my 10 gal bags.. The SC seems too be a very hardy plant! I have a huge strain bank, I dont really want to list them all at the moment... :)
I dont know the medical scene seems to brings some legit cuts into my area! :)
Hope everyone is enjoying the Snow Blanket!
New room also has a couple Purple Trainwrecks, a Chem4OG X and a Green Crack...
I also run a perpetual garden with my father, that has a bunch of stuff going on!
Anyone have any simple teas that they run that work well..
Looking for a Microbe tea, more then a nutrient tea..
Thanks in Advance!

Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays everyone and hope New England has a
great new year.
We got medical MJ for Ct, R,i, N.J, Mass, (Vt, Me - I'm not sure
if these are part of new-england but, they have medical MJ laws
in place).
It is so great to see the world making major changes with
common-sense MJ laws and decriminalizing small amounts.

Oh yea Here is what I've been doing since around November
6th
. These cuts have recently been root-bound but I'm using
Hygrozyme to help break-down any dead roots.
They have been vegging in a cabinet under compact-floros
Just in case the images don't show up at least I named the pics
w/good descriptions.

  • The first 2 pics are my bubble-gum cuts one snapped and
became real bushy the 2nd pic is a taller bubble-gum cut.

  • 3rd pic is both of my Madonna clones.

  • 4th pic is my very own cross of SourDiesel x GrapeKrush.

(the first for pics are from November 2012.)

  • 5th pic - Madonna(my tallest one) First day of flower
    after transplant.

  • 6th pic is the Same Madonna after I pruned her a bit to remove
the lower 3/4 of inter-node branches and smaller side-
    branches

  • 7th pic is What the Madonna will look like when done. Very
    frosty and dense buds

  • 8th pic - Madonna spread out on a magazine(this was just a
portion of the plant - she can produce in good
    conditions)

  • Last pic - Is a terrible yellowed-out pic of what the
sourD x GrapeKrush will look like around 7-8weeks of
flowering. She produces dense nugs and has a sourD
structure but gained the GK sticky-resin and an
indescribable scent - have to wait until harvest.
Also - this was grown in a 1-gal container,
she will go into flower as a taller plant in a 4-gal
    container
