I was just reminded of this book the other day; it is a great read. I've read it at least twice.

No Mercy: A Journey Into the Heart of the Congo
by Redmond O'Hanlon

Confessions of an economic hitman is a very good book, I read it many years ago.
That rainbow and the worm book looks really interesting, I have Schrodinger's What is Life book-looks like it was an inspiration to the author and written in that vein. I'm interested in checking it out thanks for sharing!

Tomorrow I will finish A Clash of Kings (book II. from the A Song of Ice and Fire saga) by George R. R. Martin. Great book, but it wasn't extremely exciting, because I had already watched season two of the A Game of Thrones TV series. Book 3 will probably be much more exciting, because season three hasn't come out yet.

How closely would you say the series has followed the book? Now that Homeland's season is over it's going to be a long wait til April for GoT!

I've finished yet another historical fiction novel, this one was about Harry Stafford, Duke of Buckingham and his wife, Katharine Woodville (I see different spellings of her name, both the Katherine/Katharine/Catherine part, and the Woodville/Wydeville part), which ultimately revolved around Richard III's life. I read one telling of the boys, Edward V and his little brother Richard and one story as to how they might have met their end. Incredibly sad story.

I've now started a book called Schutzhund: Theory and Training. If I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it right.

Pretty close, although there are some variations and, of course, books contain much, much more. I watched the TV series first and then began reading the books, but I would recommend that you read the books first and then watch the series.

How was that book about Cabeza de Vaca? I've always found his story almost unbelievable, certainly epic.
