The girl in the 1sq ft cfl cab is a Sweet Widow Lavender I had originally started from TRC seed.

hows her terpen levels i know widow and lavender really put out some nice aromas so the combo sounds like its some stinky stuff. Have you smoked off her yet? looks like shes gonna fill up some jars

She's got a sweet funky smell, almost a hint of ammonia when cured. I've been running her for a year or so now.

nice man...love the micro cab grows...goes to show you dont need a huge setup to be able to make somethin from jus a seed....gives alot of us hope man....one question, you ever been disappointed by the yield? like i mean was there one time that jus came out crappy..what is the average yield from that box anyways?...

would you say there's a preference towards scrogging? and with the dimensions it seems the most logical route seems to be the screen, but for future harvests what would you do differently to maximize harvests?

I haven't had a run in which the whole box produced poorly. Usually what happens is, relatively speaking, one plant produces a lot lower than the rest of the but those plants then make up for that plant. Ie; a given space can only produce so much.

The 1sq ft cfl cab yield averages about an ounce and a quarter. The 11" x 11" cfl cab yield averages about an ounce and an eighth and the cfl scrog yield averages about two and a quarter ounces.

scrog yields are nice but the harvest is a total PITA because of the screen.

I'm more into strain variety than maximizing yields with the cfl grows, so I like switching up the strains and number of plants per grow.

If I wanted to try to maximize yield from the cfl cabs, I would go back over all my grows and find the highest yielding plants in each cab and mono-crop those strains in the cabs.

I don't have one favorite strain. The strains I like puffing the most are; PBSD4, Katsu Bubba Kush x SD IBL, Lady G1 x SD IBL, Geisha4 and Shire.

common thread there is 4 of those are sour d ibl crosses , says alot right there.

Hey Blynx, I would like to see you run the same set up and put beer can reflectors on those lights.

I found a clamp reflector would double the light on my light meter over a bare bulb.

You are doing great as it is and have some reflection from the metal strips over head, just curious if you could increase your yield.

I honestly don't think it would increase the yield much if any to use beer can reflectors. The way it is now the plants can grow up around and above the lights. It might end up impeding plant growth and even air flow.
