Well it might not have counted as much in the national election. (which turned out well, yeah Obama:tiphat:) but i want to say a big thanks to voters in Colorado and Washington for getting out there in huge numbers and voting to legalize recreation herb in your states.

And even though it didn't pass, lets not forget Oregon and all the people who came out and voted for legalization. That was a bummer for me (as well for all the residents of Oregon) because I am about an hour and a half from the CA/ Oregon border in humboldt, ca and was really rooting for you guys.

This is a huge step forward for the Cannabis community and a wake up call for the rest of the nation. Its time for all states to legalize. With all the open calls for reform it is not only ridiculous to not re-evaluate the reality of Cannabis and its impact on society, but it is absolutely vital for politicians to listen to their constituents. It is critical, especially for all the patients who need this medicine across the country.

We are finally turning the tide in this crazy country, informing the people, who are beginning to realize the worst thing about herb is the legal trouble you get into and not the plant itself.

Anytime there is a law and the penalty does more damage than the offense its an immoral law. needless to say keep up the hard work everyone and lets overgrow the government!

lol huge step? Or more money making and gear for Feds? The only positive I see in this " legalization" is, maybe all the Floridian growers who moved to Ca, will now move to those states instead.

Get fucked

if you don't recognize this as a huge step then IDK where the fuck you have been living all your life. its been illegal all my life in this country and now its legal in 2 states. i honestly thought it would never happen. its gonna be a domino effect and eventually it will be legal everywhere. they can only cover the truth for so long.

Yeah because nearly 1 freaking MILLION people being thrown in jail each year is totally not a high priority at all right?!

Damn some people on this site are seriously ignorant. If you can't even get behind legalization then just go live in a hole somewhere and keep quiet. Believe it or not some of us are tired of being incriminated and would like to smoke safely within our lifetimes.

Congratulations, you have earned the right to more taxes. :jerkit:

it is the end of an era. i was lucky and had serious fun with weed for almost 50 years; i never got caught, which would have changed everything.

this will be fun to watch but i think that a good portion of the fun was that it WAS illegal. it's like getting shot at and not getting hit - a kind of a rush as it were...

well here's the future kiddies. i hope it suits.

i was agin, but now i'm fer. might do something on the nat'l front, who knows. gotta change it on the nat'l level or just pissin in the wind.
