Lucas VS. Advanced Nutrients

I went through those packs in a month, like i said i still have that small great white container.
I really havent heard anything bad about caps, and im not saying it is bad. He did a great job with his research and providing a honest product for the community. i just havent seen anything more beneficial from using his product, thats all im trying to say i guess.

once im out of great white though, im switching to BioAg's VAM endo mix. I think the new myco products geared towards MMJ will be mainly endo mycos. with no trich or ecto mycos/bennies...

Ok, so I just did the math and bro... You are way off on the Great White..

GW recommends 1 scoop per 10 gallons of nutes.
Caps recommends 1 tbsp per gallon of tea, however, he recommends that one cup of his teas is for 10 gallons..

There are 16 cups in a gallon, ergo 1 gallon of caps tea does 160 gallons of nutrients..

No wonder you blew through them, you were using them wrong..

Actually, how the hell were you using them, Ive never heard a negative review...

thanks for doing the math...???

yeah i felt it was wierd. There is no fucking way i just felt like using that much tho, i read his threads on thc farmer, maybe read tsp/tbs wrong idk. thanks tho i guess.

I still stand by what i said. Its not like i wasnt using enough LOL

I just wanted to add my 2 cents to anybody who listens. Just tired of hearing people say all the other myco products on the market are watered down and arent good enough... kinda similar to how advanced nutrient customers think LOL

This is a great string of pictures...awesome. I've been using Advanced Nutrients for a while with some great results, and I'm appreciating all of the advice and tips on this thread.

Not sure anything is making me want to change nutrients, but it's good to keep an open mind when you're growing.

Oh really.. Another advanced rep, yet again, sorry any grower claiming molasses isnt for mj is promoting another agenda...

And no shit molasses isnt for mj, its for bacteria... Youve been here for all of 51 posts and all of them are references to AN..

YO AN, we arent stupid, and you certainly arent helping your cause by sending in drones to beef up your products.. challenge this please..... Im still waiting....

Again, low post counts, touting superiority, you guys are like fox news... Shove it down another forums throat, we are a little wiser here.....

I think they all want us arguing over which bottle is best......

Shouldn't we all be asking ourselves why in the fuck we use bottles anyways?

Actually if you guys wana nit pick eachothers views...that plant does have slight tip burn and is over nuted to the point that it Clawed which is irreversible...although it can be "adjusted" for...still not a great argument for any points being made...
And still not a great rep for what would want ppl to change their poss almost set ways..
No one is gana change cause you said so...You can influence but it will be their choice...and theres really 100s of options for nute lines...For not using them your sure getting them more attention but this isnt the first AN vs thread...and it won't be the last either...
And "In my view" those veg pups are dark and have a slight issue...whether others feel that way is their view...some may pref a darker plant...some like a lime green plant...Certain varieties alone can show as a darker color on avr where others can stay rather pale all the way thru...So by saying that is Right your already limited...cause its only what you feel is right for that 1 strain..
Now put 10 diff strains in there, make half of them mixed or Sativa doms and see what you get...But this thread is already out of sorts cause the view of AN vs Lucas isn't even being presented well to start...So why even bother...specially when you present a method that a Hydro based grower won't touch?...that makes no sense at all fellaz....whether right or wrong its senseless...
and theres nothing wrong with the FloraNova line...you say those are "mistreated things you found?".....well who mistreated them is the issue...not the nute line......gl...

Here is another pic of my poorly mistreated gals I found
you said mistreated....not I....and my view is not that limited by far as Ive stated clearly enough...if your looking for blame or cause your looking in the wrong direction...as Im only tying to help openly with no intention beside comparing these nute lines directly which is the point of the thread...the rest is moot and only your view/method no matter how you state it...
I also posted my view/method but its very relevant to those who "Use" these Lines..whether Good or Bad it relates...so your epic fail is unwarranted and rather childish IMO....gl

Heres my latest veg wise using AN pH-P line...1 lil mixed pup..a few NL lines..and a veg floor with 20 diff varieties...keep rollin

I mean, I have that same pic in another exposure that is brighter green.. Mistreated was meant as sarcasm.. didnt catch that I guess, Im not biting your head off, and your post was very well written, but if you read, I specifically stated that my plants were a little burnt, the following pic was just a near perfect situation, as far as Im concerned, hence the sarcasm..

Since you are really the only person so far that I can trust not to be biased based on a paycheck, how do you like the ph perfect line? Never tried it, but if its that "perfect" would you advise giving it a go, if say the money wasnt an issue? I am a realist, and I dont pay attention to nutrient manufacturers, I mix and match to hit my target npk for some of my gals...

Lets say the ph was perfect, are you in Tap or RO, because I use RO and will try it if you say the results are worth it.. Anything would beat phing.... But you know how it goes, if somethings to good to be true, well....

Why would you use their 'pH-P line' while growing in dirt? Were you having 'pH issues' and this corrected your problem?

im not on the AN payroll and i use them with good results. im not sure why i decided to try them but they do well for me. i choose the cheaper products so i dont do the whole line.

i use the cheap sensi a and b base, and the bigbud thats it. but its the basis to my nute mix.
really they are no better or worse than any other nute company, they really all do the same job.
i like canna and house and garden, i might be switching to these for fun. i already veg with canna and use some h and g products aswell.

No doubt bro, Ive used them in the past, and was happy with them, I just found equivalent npk values in cheaper brands.. Advanced had a good thing going with the jungle juice, but I dont know man, me and 3 other growers all had the same complaint, perhaps it was meant to be used with tap water, we all had bad ph flux, and had to fork out on meters to test the ph, with gh, I can see what color the ph dye is indicating, its simple I just phd from down to up in a few vials until a color spectrum is discernible, but the jungle juice shit we had was like black, and made that difficult, but once we got it at 5.8 that shit would fluctuate in dialed rooms with 78f and 50%rh on average, shouldnt affect the nutes but some guys here were saying that they had no issues, so yeah, we stick to GH, and some "no name shit" mixed up behind closed doors similar to gh's three part, I agree on the a&b, just find it cheaper with GH, nutes are nutes... I could do it with H&G but If you think AN is overpriced........

i think if you go for the bases then its generally cheap but tbh when you get like 35 oz off a nute cost of about £60 plus leccy and whatever else it really doesnt seem expensive at all. and ive foung buying the 4ltr bottle knocks the price down alot too.

Jbonez in RO here and I'll tell ya my water is hard and even after RO filtered its very high in pH..so water source is a big part of it..
I like them but Im still using a lil bit of other things to make it best for me..and they say pH-P line doesn;t lock your pH...It just keeps it in a range where its best for the plants..Which when I test nutes after mixing its between 5.6-5.8 but still drifts up a bit into low or mid 6's..
and kewl on the convo..after you mention MaxiBloom if I get a samp I'll try it as well as thats 1 I havn't tried yet..Ive done strait BudSwel all the way to which always gives a perty organic tasting bud...
I don't mind testing boosters as some do help indeed...

Homebrewer...thats not dirt brah..its 70%PMixHP, 20%uncharged coco and 10%fafard..its just moist and does look like a rich soil tho huh...
If you were to ball my mix moist in a fist it would crumble very easily..Its quite a light high porosity and mostly inert..
also Im showing seed and cuts in wool blocks which are def not organic...

Maybe I should have made my question a little more clear? Why would you use their 'pH-P line' when you're not a hydroponic grower? Were you having 'pH issues' and this corrected your problem?

Currently using h&g aqua flakes on e/f with hydroton I only us a/b with root excel thinking bout going to gh and using either lucus or rez nute schedule tried a/n but did better with fox farm so left it alone plus its cheaper when you mixing up 4 50 gal rez every three weeks nutes can get costly quick

Homebrewer yes...serious issues starting with other nute lines I had used for yrs...so my main reason was to see if it did keep pH more stable but I also had their early Sensi line as we had to wait for pH-P here to and Ive only used it for 1 set so far man(4mo or so?)..and for 1 set results Im not gana knock it...But my issues were mainly driven by my water supply(tap)..Even after RO filtering it would rise quickly and start in the upper 9 range..and my mix is very inert so its called bio-hydro cause I use processes that use a bit of both methods..Don't matter...
Heres wool blocks if ya want hydro...point being if I put these in my mix and only watered they would die in days as that mix has nothing for amendments or activity...So even tho its a mix I pref to keep the pH in a lower range and treated like hydro...
I don't add lime and go on the bare minimum of what they need..
bout a KISS method really....and I feed every time or every other time and hardly every flush at all...when they die theres no more food left..its not cause I flushed it away....
Im just stating my view..and other water supplies will be completely different to boot...all casual tho...
Im gana go back to PBP next tho..so that may make even less sense...
btw my main reason atm is cause I can dump old/left over in my garden outside and not sweat wool or washing hydroton...may do DWC again soon really so its all possible options..Im cycling it in a aero syst and a EnF table...
whats your concern?...It didn't correct by itself but its helping keep it more stable/consistent yes but when I only use low amounts in the 100-200ppm range it still will flux higher faster...Theres not much for actives going on man and Im using a Acid buffer in my water rese pre-mixed..
I think with other lines as long as you test premix and run off and have a consistent method it will work as well as this...hope that covers it..

Maybe Im really high... but I cant find anything in your post that resembles any part of kiss. Im not knocking your grow, or nutes or anything.
