the Madness from Red's (HOL) Midnight Madness came from a plant that was given to me as Madness but turned out to something else... some sort of Lavender cross we have come top believe. It was meant to be Sub's Madness. ...Still a very beautiful plant though but part sativa, a little purple, has a high like blue dream. Although she was a beautiful plant everyone was disappointed when it wasn't really the original Madness so she was given the name Sadness. Although i kept her for about 4 more grows because she was a really awesome strain.

I have seen Red's Midnight Madness in person and she is also a beautiful plant

The valley and socal both recombined w the c99 nicely..number of people still growing both..the chem99 imo ranged from nice buzz to crazyicantsleep buzz...the dabney a im REAL stoked to see...still sorry i let that cut go..very much like ecsd in buzz..i craved it..but the taste was just kinda low skunky...hope those f2s have some magic

and ya Stellar, i assume those are probably labeled Albert Walker x c99 instead of Dago Walker? Reminds me of all the drama going on at the Farm, with Alien using the Dago Walker, even admitted to it, but then comes back and says it was really the Albert Walker... Now people are growing his Ewok (Dago Walker x Tahoe Alien) and are getting plants that look SPOT ON like the dago walker, and are describing grapefruit as the smell.

What about the cactus cooler specifically? Definitely wanna do lots with her. Everyone that trys her is blown away. We definitely wanna hit her with og again.. Wether we reverse the cactus and hit an og, or vice versa... Although it would be interesting to see what some cactus cooler s1s are like. I wouldnt mind seeing cactus cooler crosses to all kinds of shit, so reversing her might be the call. I have this sick blackberry (that should be called gushers or something cause its NOT blackberry) but id love to see cactus cooler crosses to something fruity/purply. Hell, cactus cooler x sour dubble sounds dank as fuck too.
We got some King Louie pollen saved in the freezer, could be worth using on the cactus, although im not sure how viable it is, as Whadeezlrg said he only got a couple seeds so far after using it on cookies.

You got any pics of those clones Trop??? Im sure everyone would love to see them. The Socal99 was the standout of all the c99 crosses ive tried.

and ya man, that indica pheno of skullfuck is the fucking SHIT! cant wait to give her a run. Pretty cool seeing Sour Bubble come through being that it was the grandparent to skullfuck.
Which makes me believe even more that it was NYCD in Sour Dubble and not Sour D. because i would think with as many sour dubble hybrids we have grown out by now, at least 1 would have showed some sour diesel traits by now?

I dusted a V18 ( Valley OG x X18 ) with a bunch of that Louie dust and only got 3 seeds. Theyre fat beautiful seeds but only 3 of them....not a good sign as far as pollen viability goes.

Smoke...I know you've mentioned it before but tell me a little more about that Blackberry? I just was gifted a couple medium sized BHT-Hogs breath. At least one of them will be hit wit STS. I want to take that dust to ChemD & also do some S1s. See if we can get something that vegetates a little faster. I'm looking for other heavy indica plants to get dusted with some of the BHT-HB dust.
( Sub already expressed concern about the hermi factor of using the ChemD. I gotta do it though. The ChemD & the BHT-HB are by far the heaviest medicine in my collection. It seems like the stretch the ChemD would bring would be a perfect combo with the BHT-HB. It would be all about selecting the right cut...not about making a stable seed line)

the blackberry i have is only nice for its taste and look. the effects are more on the lighter side. Definitely not a heavy indica. It also wants to autoflower if you let her get rootbound. I wanna cross her somehow just too see what offspring she produces, and hopefully find something similar without the auto flower trait. She really is a beautiful smelling and tasting herb

think it would be better to hit it with something totaly not conected to chem or dubble, the ones i did with the chem sister and dubb were ok but when that cross hit the choc diesel magic happened, true hybred vigor and some great genitc phenos of chem and sour dubb. more so than with the origanal chem sis x dubb

Dankfrank hit me up w question about v99...and just yesterday i got some samples from an outdoor grower friend of mine..smoked the shit out of it..i dont have pics of her..havent grown her myself..but ive had a number of samples..all from growers i know and trust..
Have the feeling they still drop a few packs at server fund as i occasionally get hit up for info by people who have acquired them..i have the last of these maybe they will get sent in to s.f. w other extras..
Anyway..heres a refresher of what ive learned about valley99:
This was the first cross i made where male selection had a specific trait i liked andwanted...the males (5) were grown by a guy in ocean beach and brought to me...the winner was a dude who produced incredibly arromatic pollen (think ludens cherry cough drops)...the cindy line was from theREv akà rolanterroy over at skunk mag and KOS...and his cindy99 is a DOMINATING bitch

Majority of valley99 is going to reflect the above fact...in those phenos the valley has added stone to the head and body..but that sedative tone of the buzz is still riding the cerebreal wave of c99..
This most recent outdo sample was the first ive had that i specifically tasted og..but its still cindy dom..ive heard of a pheno an old timer in ob has...fat yielding og..havent had it...spicoli has
Caligreen grew some in his greenhouse..it was super dense and sourasfuckcitruskush..rotten sour..
Which i should point out is also from the cindy..and for those who pop these...keep in mind...cure cure cure..not for the og..but this cindy is hardcore aroma..the cindy99 genes used in this project are by far the most cure dependant/beneficial ive ever seen..and every cross ive seen done involving them, mine or what ive grown from kos, carries this trait..
The guys who have done her outside..all here in southern cal..all want more valley99 seeds
Another bro..a commercial grower..grew exclusively a 23% shishkaberry cut now grows exclusively valley99...hasnt had it tested that i know of

In conclusion..its not og..its a cindy99 hybrid..the quality of the high is elite level..the over all appeal and quality is top shelf and solid...professional...unique..wont replace an og in the garden..but might replace a sativa..or make a place for one
Aint selling anyone on it..and im not claiming more credit then i deserve..that goes to therev and good ole og..just the stuff i would want to know if i picked up some beans...

I'm on an OG bean kick for the next couple of seed drops. I won't lie - I had ran a bunch of C99 crosses for a bit and really didn't find exactly what I was after and had kinda moved on by time the Valley99 found me.

At the same time - I really want to run some of the SDF gear and see what all the fuss is about over here - you guys certainly are always pushing the envelope.

Think I'll just have to put some in the line up regardless

No bro.. Despite what you've heard this whole industry is a very quasi-legal grey area of the law. Any kind of site designed for linking up growers is asking for LE attention, including this one on which I'm sure there is plenty. There are a lot of California state officers who completely disregard prop 215 protections on growing/using medication whenever possible and if they catch wind of shit they will always notify their buddies in the fed. Sad but true in far too many cases.
