Great thread. I found an amazing trainwreck in some bagseeds that was a great yeilder and smells like lemon pinesol. She's def a keeper. Also, have a nice kush that i wouldn't mind growing again. I followed the methods used in this thread and am hoping for the best. Will report back with pics.

Can u reveg a plant that was grown in scrog? Reason why im asking is im doing a micro grow right now using the scrog method. I would assume at the end of the cycle my plant would be pretty bent from the scrog. So would it be able to reveg it back to life and use it as a mother plant?

You can re-veg a plant in scrog. I am re-vegging 3 plants that I had LST'd and they're bent in different directions. It's working no problem. Actually, the more shoots your plant had the more shoots will form in re-veg.

One thing i'd like to add to the re-veg protocol is that it could be beneficial to you to snip off a few buds a few weeks into your reveg. I did this and it created new growth that wasn't happening when the buds took the place of the new shoots. I wanted to test out the buds so i snipped a couple off but left some leaves at the bottom and it seemed to help me out. Also, re-vegging seems to be strain dependent. My trainwreck has the most growth, my skunk is just behind and my kush is way back in 3rd place. It has a few spots of vegetative growth, however they are more sparse and much smaller.

How long should I wait to take clones? Is it time dependent or should I take them when they reach a proper size?

I grew my indoor then re vegged for outside grow. Worked perfect. You get monsters with great yields.

And it seems a waste not to re veg, the plant is already there so why not re veg all your plant, IMHO.

All you need to do in a hydro set up is to flush and re fert with a nitrogen (veg) type formula and be patient she is going to do some serious crazy leaf deformations before it gets back to a vegetative state. I do all my revegging with a 24 hour "on" cycle.

As for clones off a revegged plant i would wait until you have a good choice of healthy starts to cut, any where from normal clone length for yourself (mine 3-4") As long as it is putting off normal looking leaves I would say would be cool. Hope this helps.

Good luck, peace

Thanks Rowdy, that seems reasonable. I'm going to give it a few more weeks.

Here's a pic of her at harvest..

and here she is 3 weeks later. many shoots!

really nice, potent sativa dom. it was bagseed, but i'm fairly certain it's a trainwreck. yields great, is done at 9 weeks, and tastes like lemons so i'm glad I could keep her around. :dance013:

These are a couple re vegged plants i did last year, but my p ripped me off so i didnt get what i could have. They took all my tops so i had to take buds as they grew out and got bigger.

There is my Edna and Skunk x NL in first pic and then the cross two months later and Edna. They grew over my head, but i do use a chair, fyi. But if i hadn't been robbed they would have been at about 6'.

Its all in how ya trim them i believe. I didn't have many leaves as the plants had a low leaf to bud ratio inside. But after i trimmed roots and most branch growth with lights at 24/0 for a month. Then re pot without root trim, just bigger pot. I put them out in the shade for 2 weeks to ease into new environment and dropped em in holes. They did great, but my NL as it got a fungus i could not cure.

My best branch growth came from the small buds i left on the outer part of the plant. Just make sure you leave the outer growth and try and clean out the middle. Grows better like a bush and dont even look like a MJ plant.

I have a OD plant I'm trying to save as it's the bomb and I believe I'm the only person with it it now.. it's a very nice strain and it's death would be a loss for me, the community and the universe. it's well amber and all of the fan leaves have died off due to the chilliness/flush (didn't think the clones would fail) this plant is a slug as it is (very slow) no budget and I can get almost anything anyone recommends at wholesale.. I currently have it under 24/0 giving it plenty of bennies, fulvic/humic and was thinking a light algen extract solution as well to boost it vegetative wise. doing 1/4 strength age old grow as well. still
A few good sugar leaves especially on a certain branch, now should I cut the 3-4 other not so healthy branches off and leave the best healthiest branch in tact? or leave the onesI've already picked? I've read through this thread entirely and no questions have encompassed what I feel my scenario entails.. please lend a helping hand
Peace

Before and After at 8 weeks

She's 10 weeks now and goes back into flower next week.

Thanks for the great advice that worked perfectly

I know this is such an old thread, but I just had to say --

While looking at these plants with the beautiful shaping (was that FIMed?) and how it looks on the reveg -- once we end the prohibition this is going to be the greatest version of FTD EVER. Think about it. You can send it already in flower, the way you'd send a fruit basket. They can just pick it off as they like. They can keep growing it if they want to or just take the nugs.

Send to a wedding, childbirth, birthday greetings, whatever strain they like.

I'm doing it today with the Warhead I harvested this morning, awesome plant. That was my first grow, very pleased with this particular one.

Question: I'm thinking about doing a SOG in beer cups with this plant, knock wood that she does re-veg. I believe she will. So what if I cut clones, place them directly into beer cups with coir, and just let them root? I can easily give them a fluoro at night. I'm thinking to prune them so that basically I'm just doing one cola in each beer cup. Like planting a stick and growing a popsicle, kind of.

Will this work, you think?

Thanks
