There is no wonder; the AmeriKan government wants you dead or FINANCIALLY destitute by paying 100% of your life savings and as much as you can guilt out of your family and community to pay THEM for their POISONOUS chemo / radiation therapy.

Happy trails sheeple, most of you will die bankrupt with outstanding debts to your executioners. Liberty and Justice for all :tumbleweed:

:joint:

Actually it's not so much the government as it is their corporate masters who have all the politicians bought and paid for.

another reason not to vote for Obama 4years ago he said he would leave it up to the states. That he wouldn't enforce fed law if it was legal in the state. Look at this b.s. Now

Actually what he said was he wouldn't use Federal resources on people fully compliant with state law which is very different then saying he won't enforce federal law if it's legal in the state. The real question is, have these places that have been shut down been as fully compliant as they like their customers to believe they are?

Unfortunately alot of them have closed down rather then risk losing everything and who can blame them? But it leaves us with an inaccurate picture of what's really going on. Unfortunately you can't test whether the Federal Government is being true to it's word if the dispensaries don't take the risk to put it to the test.

Funny thing bout those RS sucess stories, they never make it to a regular public newspapers, or the medical journals, etc. so the public can see, but they blow up the grow/stoner site threads, lol. Is it any wonder?

Yeah funny but not really. I found that story on CC I think her handle is Misskitty but none of the mainstream mediaever covers these stories so you know they are in the Gov pockets.I also found this article that should give you an idea of how much control our Gov has over what we do and don't hear!! Oh yeah BTW fuck you Harper/Hitler ..headband 707

Media relations and information
Harper has insisted on his right to choose who asks questions at press conferences,[156] which has caused the national media to lodge complaints.[157] In 2007, Harper was awarded the Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ) "Code of Silence Award" for his "white-knuckled death grip on public information". "If journalists can't get basic information from the federal government, Canadians can't hold the government accountable. The Prime Minister's Office has repeatedly demonstrated contempt for the public's right to know," [CAJ President] Welch said. "Harper pledged to run a government that was open, transparent and accountable, but his track record to-date has been abysmal."[158] Some have alleged that the Prime Minister's Office also "often informs the media about Harper's trips at such short notice that it's impossible for Ottawa journalists to attend the events".[159] Harper's director of communications has denied this, saying that "this prime minister has been more accessible, gives greater media scrums and provides deeper content than any prime minister has in the last 10 to 12 years". Some suggest that the Conservatives' then recent electoral success could be credited to their control of the campaign message, a practice that they continued when they became the government.[160]

Actually it's not so much the government as it is their corporate masters who have all the politicians bought and paid for.

The electoral college system seems to cement the two-party system effectively eliminating any independent, green, brown, etc. party candidate no way to win. People will have the psychology of not wanting to waste their votes on a non-Democrat, non-Republican candidate for the highest offices. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Nader's micro success only had the effect of taking away votes from Al Gore.

Then there is campaign finance, and labor unions, prison unions, etc. on one side, and corporate interests, military interests on the other.

I would venture to guess if they re-enabled the popular vote, and allowed each voter not just a positive vote but a negative vote to express "dis-utility", intelligent, moderate, "uncorrupted", and benevolent 3rd party leaders would immediately have a better chance, putting an end to this permanent unproductive national divide. The most egregious elephant-donkey-mudslinging, and crony capitalism would effectively be hindered. Voters would have a real choice rather than having to go along in this 'democracy play'.

Stoxx wonders if Holden or Pres. Obama is at the heart of the 180 turnaround in stance towards MMJ in CA. The White House initially stated they will yield to states in not going after professional, state-legal dispensaries. Then they issued the 45 day notice, and went after the biggest dispensary that has been crossing every T and dotting every I.

Oakland is currently pursuing a lawsuit against the Federal government over the crackdowns.

Ive been checking this thread for updates about disp closing, and other new news about the topic, kinda wish it was more on topic, but I guess no news is good news

Many dispensaries are biding their time. Time means continued business while the political environment may or may not change.

The giant dispensary at the edge of O-town is still open and well. They are scheduled for a December hearing in DC.
