Hi/gh!

First grow diary ever. some experience with growing but learning.

grow space: 0.9mx 0.9mx 0.9m
lighting: veg 250mh horizontal, flo 250hps vertical, limited grow height. 75cm after pots.
nutes: floranova grow/bloom
3 liter pots veg. flowering, not sure yet. 5-12 liter i think. nine plants total.

other equipment: ph/ec-kit. hygro/thremometer. 12"fan. carbonfilter+ ufo. heater.

situation at the moment. dont know which one is which, did f***up labeling,flooding in growspace. more detail https://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.php?p=5370674&postcount=37

plant heights: smallest 13cm, tallest 20cm. veg day somewhere around 21-25?? dont really care.i will switch 12/12 when average heights around 25cm so week or so to flip. waiting them to stretch to max 75cm. if more then i have to tie.

humidity: day 48rh, night 58rh.
ec: 0.8 plants looking ok.using mandalas guidance,better to go low.
temps: day 25c. night 19c

i try to update pics at least before flipping the light.

Wow, you really got the RH under control very well! I fucked up my labeling by using indelible marker on plastic tags, and the marker faded off COMPLETELY in the sun. My tomatoes, my squashes, all my weed, the peppers, the cole crops--all of their tags faded completely. Next year it's grease pencil for me.

Lets see how rh rises when snow start to melt. it was not 90 at the beginning, my guess only. official was something around 78-80. but anyways very satisfied with current situation.

I did some reading, hempy buckets thread, and desided to have 8 liter(aprox. 2gallon) pots. i find good ones to fit the space.

max of flowering plants is 7.i need to find a place to veg and start malawi(ace seeds) or satori(mandala seeds) project soon as i know how many ladies i have. more the merrier. male thinking

situation at the moment.

smallest 20cm (8") 2plants
tallest 30cm (12") 2plants
average 25cm. 5plants

three days ago I switched to 15/9 and today to 12.5/11.5.

after switching 15/9 they started noticeable to stretch. about 6cm in three days.growth was 1cm/day or less before.

Ec is now around 0.9-1 that might have affect stretching also.

hope I can control the height enough if needed. there is 75cm max for plants. I have thought using pinch method if they seem to stretch too much.

soon as stretching stops i will chance hps.

and a bit shitty picture, nothing special to see. just weed.

i had an impression that supercropping is when you have plant which have developed small buds and you turn it back to veg. its starts to grow multiple growth tips.. or am i mixing it with some other method.. oh well nevermind..

plan is to pinch grow tips if needed.

forget to mention that there was 38 veg days. plants were in cold place(12celsius) for a week while i build a new grow space. that slowed them down a bit.

ok now i got it. mixed up with monstercropping.

so my plan is not supercropping nor monstercropping. giving me a idea though, should i use supercropping or just pinch the tips. tip pinching stops growth for couple of days. would not like cause any more stress than its needed. how long it takes to recover from supercropping?

Not long at all. Supercropping is basically forcing the plant to bend at a certain point on the stem without breaking it. It will form a nodule around the point where you've forced it, and you'll know you've done it right when you've got a horizontal stem and the plant is still growing towards the light.

Pinching the tops will give you more tops, for sure. Both methods can work well.

fan is fucking with me. works only on full setting. burned resistor or something. no energy to open and check it out. plants were bit colder last "night" 15c because fan stopped. fan blowing at max.

Old carbon filter need new coals. tallest 35cm. smallest 22cm.

i found a way to identify plants, there are two very different smells on leaves. and the smallest one is 95%sure afghani. so thats my reference point.

no preflowers yet. my quess is less than week to show them selves.

I like to feed veg nutes for at least the first week of flower. I also give them one feed of a PK booster in that week as well to initiate bud set.

thanks for your reply. i gave nutes already.

did some reading thou. grow gives bigger plants and bloom shorter. so my desision because of the limited height issues was 50/50 grow/bloom. next time will be only bloom. n-p-k: grow 7-4-10 and bloom 4-8-7.

ec was 1.0

there seems to be slight excess of nitrogen,just slight turning of leaf tips. hopefully this nute mix helps. and they look like they are going to sex any time. not that experienced but i think i was seeing couple pre gents and ladies.

i hope 4 ladies,space is quite small. theoretical max is 7 pots but 4-5females is max. unless there is a good sog strain. mandala seeds ganesh for example.

but lets see..

Status: 2 females. 2 or 3 males.2 definitely. rest unsure. couple of days i know more.

stretchy stretchy: tallest 44cm. smallest 28cm.

havent done identification yet. smell is getting stronger but new coals on their way.

start to control height when they reach 60cm.

ladies and gentlemen,let me represent the ladies:



on the left lovely miss afghani 41-2cm.
in the middle lovely miss sadhu 37cm
and on the right lovely miss sadhu 47cm.

bought 12liter pots anyways, maybe later there is need for 12 liter but now i go 8-10liter depends how much i have perlite/vermiculite. 20liters i quess. plus from the male pots.

and now is the time to plan how i am gonna fuckthegrowup aka ftgu

I was expecting 4 females but 3 is better than 2. now i need to take cutting from males and make some seeds. plan is to make sadhu x afgani and sadhu x sadhu.

Girls now at 8liter perlite/vermiculite (3:1)mix. raised a lamp a bit,as much as possible actually. it was bit hard to move them because medium isnt that solid. but it worked out quite well.

tomorrow i have to take the male clones. and kill all the rest. i chose the smallest afghani and the fastest sadhu.

today also germinated 3 satoris and i will put them directly in 12/12. plan is to make afghani x satori. use 1 liter pots and if there is females then 3 liter.

girls now (sadhu)60cm,(s)51cm,(a)57cm. stretching is slowing down.

2/3 satori germinated and planted. hopefully 1 male.

havent collected pollen yet. killed males and made some butter. nice bodystone! very relaxing and didnt want to move at all. some tension before relaxing but after that very warm and nice body feeling.
