EG has some 1mx1mx0.15m that are perfect for the situation.. going to set one up similar to yours to try and break the 1 pound mark from 400w.

Haha agreed HJ. I just arrived but have read through all pages and am wanting to see more. Have been DYING to try out some MNS Black Widow forever and this has sold me for my next run.

hehehe. I can assure you. This is but the beginning.

Apologies for the lack of updates. I had to give the mothers some vege time. Especially the #8 pheno, had to get her big enough to get 18 decent sized clones from. She cloned well. She was one of the first phenos to show roots in the previous test round.

This is the keeper bud. Nice dense nugglets. Strong hashy smell with a hint of pine. Everyone I pass a joint of this stuff to has commented on the quality.

18 Black Widow (#8) clones. Ready to flower. Aero cloner did it's job.

Just planted them out. Day 1 is the 1st of December. Lets rock & roll.​

it is true what they say "you can't keep a good man down" this has been one of my fav reads ,trust me i have read about 200 journals,just love the way you go about things,that smoke looks great ,by the sounds of it ,it tastes great too,so what direction are ya taking us to next?, more of the same i hope ! .i do have one question please ,how do you get roots on the clones that big ,is it the light,clonex temps ,i just don't get roots that big, please help! also many thanks overgrowingkiwi .you have so nailed this black widow !

Thanks for the compliments, much appreciated. The secret is the pump. The bigger the better imo. Not only does the high pressure cause more aeration it doubles as a water heater. I just dip them in hormone gel and stick them in the diy cloner which contains ph 5.8 water. I add 1ml or so of nutrient when they start to draw nutrients out of the lower leaves. The roots are usually quite established by then and the nutrient just gives them that little heathy boost while not quite enough to stop the roots hunting.

Here they are on day 3. Probably could have spaced them a bit better but it was an awkward number lol.

Trimmed off some leaves with burnt tips and lollypopped the ladies. Stems are fattening up nicely. Lets see what happens.

Also another 18 Black Widow #8 clones are in the aero cloner.

dude how did that tanlin shit work for u ? i got a little bottle a while back.. and it did ok.. but i used tanlin.. gognats... and a couple sprays from home depot.. to keep switchin it up.. and i wiped those bitches out!!! . since ur hydro mostly.. u cant let it dry out.. so .. id let everything thats in coco.. or whatever that soilless mix is.. dry out that will kill alot of them instantly.. and then just keep swithcin up ur ammo to throw at those fungus gnats..

The NilNat(Tanlin) did the trick on the babies. I used garlic & pyrethrum on the adults which cleaned them out. I used sticky traps to keep track of the adult numbers. I've still got a few here and there but nothing like before the nilnat treatment. I did dry out the medium as you say which definitely helped cull them.
