1st week 12/12 done.
Switched to the Veg+Bloom Nute by Hydroponic Research for the 2nd week we'll see how it goes. I had no complaints with current regimen but hey it sounds good.

Been thinking about buying and running these beans..

Thanks for sharing, I'm looking forward to seeing how they turn out..
If they got that OG Kush lemon fuel taste and good potency in a big yielding plant you got pure money!
Make sure you take cuttings fella cos your plants sure look good!

It's Critical Mass x OG Kush, anyone know what OG cutting was used?

Can't wait for the smoke report! Cheers mate!

Thanks Guys,, its been a carefree grow so far. The new nute regimen is easy with Veg+Bloom 1 part powder, I’m not even adjusting pH anymore.

There was a DNA Rocklock in with the Kush it was a freebie and I had room so I gave it a shot, turns out she was a PURE BOY. Cut him out and the place filled in no time. Read of this happening in a topic search before soooo .

Twice a Day

On a 12/12 now, so 1st one at lights on and a second at 6hrs. I could prolly have held off a 2nd feed for another week them 6x6x6 Rockwool blocks hold a good bit. I love them they remind me of nursery pots and potting soil days.

Thanks for looking in dansbuds I followed your posts on Veg+Bloom in other threads and your reviews and experiences helped a lot in making the desision to give Veg+Bloom a try.

Ebb & Flo works for me cause I'm lazy and old.
Prolly next best easiest thing would be a top water drip system on a timer a couple a times a day, system could easily be converted and still use the 6x6x6 blocks. I love them.

I already do DTW feedings now in 2 gallon pots of coco . it works great for me ... but i've been thinking about slabs of coco with either coco blocks or RW blocks like your using , to veg with here .... then drop them on the slabs to flower out .
so your feed schedule for veg will help me figure this out . thanx fo your replys :thank you:

The slabs will make things so much cleaner & easier than the pots of coco . but your blocks just setting in a tray has me wondering again :)

Pots of Coco are the rage these days and its easy to see why there are some nice results gotten outa that stuff. But the set up and tear down along with the waste coco are the deal breakers for me, haha the 4inch RW cubes in the planters with RW croutons and hydroton was too big a pain in the ass to take apart (Lazy) .

I' ve been using RW forever mostly 4in cubes on a bed of some sort when Grodan started the HUGO & Big Moma series I died and went to heaven with the hugo's cubic displacement of a substance with the properties of RW I think I could grow Corn and if I need more I’d go to the 8x8x8 blocks. Go to - grodan101.com and learn about the characteristics of the product direct from the source and by-pass all the B.S. ya read about it in forums regarding pH, retention and preparation, get the facts straight and use as described then apply what we learn from others in their experiences and RW will never fail ya.

Course now that’s just an opinion I look at all the different grow methods like the bubble guys and Coir growers and I'm tempted to give'em a try, but in the end I go get my trusty RW. I do one grow about every year and a half I love it while I’m in the middle of it but the rest of the year well ya know I don’t think about it much and when its time to start one I just follow the same old routine I developed over the years. Except Nutes I love to play with them Haha guess that’s why I got a Rez full of Veg+Bloom

Lil' update

Let me just fill in some of the week,, I was running Veg+Bloom for a few days, I grow out from seed to flower so genetics are a dice roll I stick with reputable seeds and products I’ve become familiar with. This strain started out pretty bushy and I thought its legging do to stretch as dictated by genetics, but I got scared off and switched back to FNB and supp's,, gona see if after a week I like the looks.

The product sounds great and was great to use I would love to get comfortable with it but not on this grow.

Genetics

Big Shout out to Barneys Thanks for the Quality, got two gorgeous plants so far that would be great Showcase Mothers each a bit different, one being shorter and compact and the other a sequoia that I am confident if put in the 4x4 or so closet it alone would fill it wall to wall, yet they are identical in looks and nature and the other two that are just plants ha-ha.

Bending

I really didn't want to but I had to bend two of the taller plants, I would have loved to see what the two in the front would become if I had an 8 or 10 ft. ceiling but headroom has been an issue on every grow I've ever done so bending it is and some fan leave plucks another thing I hate.

So Far I’m Having Fun

Well that’s a thing initially with the 6x6x6 blocks for the first 3 weeks of flowering I was only flooding once a day, I tried 2 times a day it seemed to wet.

It seemed stupid to ditch a rez with a perfect pH and EC that only flooded the tray 7 times and now I’m up to 2 times a day again at week 4 I'm thinking about a fresh rez biweekly.
I top off my rez daily with a gallon to a gallon and a half of full strength nute mix. As long as the pH and EC are stable and in spec I assume the rez is healthy and of course I keep an eye on the girls themselves for a sign like a change in growth or appearance.

Good reading on this subject can be found at the Lucas Cannastats page.
