have you guys even read the amendment? its not legalization....

3 flowering plants in a locked space; cant be grown outdoors either....

1 ounce max; cant leave the space it was grown in.
regulated like alcohol? please.... its not like i can get a felony for having more than a 6 pack in my fridge....

everyone who has currently doing time for marijuana related things will continue to sit.

department of revenue is going to have both and MMED division and a MED division now...
more cops... cops who only focus on marijuana busts.... not a good thing....

it will surely lead to new dui laws...

read the bill; saw that it is a fucking joke; voted no.

honestly the only reason you should vote yes on this is if you don't grow, never plan to grow, and you love smoking warehouse shwag.

@mac I recognize that it does all that, and yet doesn't affect our amendment 20 rights as patients/caregivers - it's not the wall coming down, but IMHO it's a brick or two from the wall at least for the entire population of the state and those of us who have always found a way to do our thing will more or less continue to do so. Again that's my humble opinion and I respect yours.

There's pros and cons, but the guys opposed are putting out some propaganda IMO. Not sure how I'll vote yet, but leaning yes.

BTW, I think the town in your Location is spelled "Schlongmont", not "Strongmont"... :moon:

I saw Ken Buck, on a Caldera public access TV show debate, say that an ounce is about 60 joints. And a heavy smoker smokes about 20 joints a month. So one ounce is about a 3 month supply for a heavy smoker.

How's that for propaganda?

If it passes the heat will rain down on our state like something fierce. I'm not sure I want to be in that petri-dish.

Let some other state take the federal-beatdown.

Everyone has very valid points. To be honest as long as what I'm doing isn't harming others I will continue as I always have regardless of the law.

We know. Thank you for your concern. I dun guud in skool.

its not like i can get a felony for having more than a 6 pack in my fridge....
But you can if you distribute that sixer to a minor and he gets in a fatal wreck. I don't see it changing any of the existing statues on large quantities, for better or worse. The anti-propaganda says "more money for cops"...You know what will mean more money for cops, keeping it illegal with Federal aid.

everyone who has currently doing time for marijuana related things will continue to sit.
Unfortunately yes. Just as you can't be tried for something that was legal at the time, they probably had a snowball's chance in hell of getting an amnesty clause passed, cause that is what it would take.

honestly the only reason you should vote yes on this is if you don't grow, never plan to grow, and you love smoking warehouse shwag.
Or perhaps you prefer that now and that's a reason to vote no. I think with the exception of some counties, there will be more competition in the 'legitimate' market place. Would could be a great thing for many a customer, er patient, er adult...No card needed.

Pass thaaaat shiit!
So one ounce maybe a couple grams of oil, under 7. I guess it depends on the quarter.

Uhhh.. the way I read it, it's an ounce when you're away from the grow. Didn't read anything about being restricted to an ounce at the grow site.

Sucks not having an outdoor option... best way for making mass topicals, I say.

I say pass it. It may not be the best but it will take the heat off the small growers for sure. Definitely lower overall quality in the state for a few years... nothing you can change there.

Would be nice to see "Public Service Announcements" being used to help growers yield a higher quantity and quality of product. LOL

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:

All I want is to be able to drive to a show at Red Rocks with a joint in my pocket
or to be able to deliver a ounce to my son's house
(the boy always has his hand out)
without the fear of getting pulled over and having to involve a lawyer in my life

Nobody really cures properly imo, and most don't do a good job w/the grow. Lots of harsh herb, lacking in flavor. But Pink House (SSH, OGs), the Clinic (SLH, THE COUGH, BB#3 & 1) & Denver Relief (CHEM D) actually have some really good cuts and do a decent job. Best to find a good caregiver!

River Rock

I second. I know a guy who goes there. Can't speak on their weed, but their shatter is the finest I have seen. Period. They are doing it right when making concentrates.
He says their weed is good, too. Probably is judging by the quality of the extracts.

Boulder RX or 14er...be the places in Boulder I like to go. Green Dream has some good stuff but I'm not a huge fan. In Denver I can't help you... I only go for hash oil.
