Ghetto Grow could you please explain those two small lines going to your totes? Are those for top feed or for running air stones in the bottom? If they are air stones how do you go about feeding your roots until they reach the water in the tub?

Also would like to know what your using for a inner basket?

Thanks, looks killer, can't wait to see how this grow goes!!!

Looking good as usual.

Ever thought of vegging them larger before you move them into the bud room? I guess you'd need somewhere else to do it.. but you don't need much space. The first 7 plants I just harvested were only vegged under two 600MH conversion bulbs until they were huge, and then I only vegged for 11 days in the bud room, quick turn around.

Now I'm using 2000 Watts on a mover to veg, I only had to veg in the bud room for 7 days this second time. That's gonna make a 63 day turn around for each crop for me, veg included, completely negating the only thing you can complain about with large plants - veg time. If the veg time isn't in the bud room, then it's not an issue, because it doesn't slow down your turn around. 7 days is about as good as the tons-of-small-plants-on-a-tray guys can usually do.

Here's my second round of 7 just before they went in the bud room, they're about 3-3.5 feet tall measured from hydroton up:

They will get about 2 weeks or so veg in the big system. Ill get 5 chops this year and 4 next. In a perfect world I would chopp every 10 weeks, but...

Thanks

Yep air lines for the stones. My hydro system is just a large DIY undercurrent system. RDWC. roots are already handing down before they get here. However you could run a higher water level till they do..
Clone in 1" rockwool in H domes
Move to 5 inch rockwool under flouros
Move to 10 inch netpots in hydro halo top feed grostones or hydroton

I now put a bag of washed lava rock in all my epicenters to create a bio filter. I run EWC tea in all my systems as well.

Thanks Ghettogrow. I appreciate the help! Few more questions:laughing: are u saying your using lava rocks now instead of hydroton as a media in your 10 inch net pots? Also do just drop the 5 inch rockwool cube into the 10" net pot surrounding the rockwool with hydroton or lava rocks??

If I use the same size 32 gallon totes as u. But only used 4 buckets. How big of a Rez should I run?
When changing out your Rez, do your turn your pump off. Suck out as much water as u can out of your Rez. Re top up with fresh water, turn pump back on and start adding nutes till your happy with your ppm reading? Sorry for all the questions but u really got your shit together with this hydro stuff!!!!:thank you:

What do u use to seal the 2.5 or 3 inch pipes going threw the bottom of your totes?

LEDnewbie - Sounds like he's growing in 10" Rockwool surrounded by Hydroton. He's adding lava rock to the bottom of the totes to help catch and promote the living organisms from the EWC tea.

GREAT Job GettoGro !

The flip flop ac is working now. 1 roof 5 ton condenser running 2 5 ton air handlers. One light timer runs all 8 1kw's in each room on a 12/12 cycle. Using relays, the roof top unit is controlled by the thermostat from which ever room has the 1k's on. Wired so the both solenoid valves can never be open at the same time.

Using the 600s's on a separate timer and the minisplits running 18/6 is how I am vegging right now with the 1k's on for 12 of the 18.

You are the fucking man. This grow is getting better and better everytime we see it. Thanks for all the knowledge. I will be coming back to this thread for a while. Thanks Getto.

Getto where did you get the ultrasonic unit for your fogger? I can only find small round ones. Thanks.

Nice job on the ac set up.
