Because a man named LUCAS has gone through & figured out what the best NPK ratio a plant needs to produce quality flowers from start to finish .(100N-100P-200K-60Mg) for a further explanation read this .....https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=21119

his recomended top 2 nutes are floranova bloom @ 8ml per gallon & maxibloom @ 7gms per gallon .

check this out too ......http://lucasformula.com/

this all should answer your question & give you a better understanding of a few other things as well :)

i didn't know why but lucas with ro in dwc and ebb, i couldn't go strait 8/16 or even 5/10 it seemed very sensitive to levels so i did 4/8 then 6/12 etc. till 10/20 which got it to 2.0, 1.8 just wasnt enough for purps. now in coco 8/16+calmag did alright 5/10 or 6/9 didnt work. had sum yellowing in flower so i got some maxi+calmag and finally my coco is working ok not great though, calmag tends to go bad, ive bought 2 bad bottles locally so i have to order direct. if it looks a milky color or has stuff floating though out its no good botanicare says. so thats why im interested in this....if you could run the same amount threw all stages and no calmag it would be the perfect coco nute 4 sure.

i weighed out 7 grams off maxi and its ec1.7.8 so 1.8 is what some people are useing start to finish so i was thinking any nutrient should work the same, in coco anyway.

I think that you could very well run V+B at these rates all the way through (check netprophet's rates), but it is unnecessary. Much lower rates work just fine during the veg stage, then kick it up to near the levels that you are talking about for 3-4 weeks, and then taper it off to the end. This brings the nutrient usage way down, the plants are happy as hell, and I've been happy with the results. It may be a little easier to use one rate all the way through, but this way saves you quite a bit of money on nutrients and I think has a better end result.

Great thread gonna try some of this stuff out all you guys are killing it 1 thing i did notice is shafto is a faggot hey bro my winkey is bigger then yours o_O

the key words in his question is ANY NUTRIENT .

that answer is NO !! which is why i put up the links about the lucas formula .... if you had read that ... you'd have a better understanding why you can't feed like that with every nute . you need to come to a certian NPK value with your nute for them to be effective . lucas did that work for you ..... & i gave you a link to that too . do some reading smog .... & get a better perspective on what the plant needs & when ....till then your only guessing & you WILL HAVE PROBLEMS.

1.8-2.0EC is solid. I went 2.1+ a couple times on these tables and think I might lose a little weight but it could be genetics as these are mostly new ones for me. That dairy queen I was running @ 1.5 and loved it. I guess genetics play a big part in feed EC

manufacturing frost in this place! Shit is looking frozen over and still a couple weeks to go.

now that is a great dwc do you use any products to keep it sterile and do you change it out often? does vegnbloom stay good in a res as long as say flora does, ive found that water alone or low ec will get slim or brown algae much faster the salts must help out

my rezs stay fresh and clean. I change my water like once every 7-10 days. I need to get my life on a calendar because I already let the EC drift too high twice this run. All of these saw 2.1+ for a couple days straight which I think cut down on the bulk.

1.8 for now, I'm thinking about pulling the nutes soon because I know they stay green for a good week after taking em' off V+B.

Got a love the sales technique, Take a bunch of it for free and I'll even pay to send it to ya. Use it and if ya want more buy it.

I’m a big skeptic & pessimist, I read all the threads in all the sites and seen all the players names. Ordered a sample it was here in no time and the simplicity sucked me in.
  • 1.5 tsp. @ 1-gal
  • 2.5 tbsp @ 5-gal

That gives me a 5.8 pH and a PPM of 740 (.05 scale) Thats it.

I got a cabinet of GH nutes and supplements Maxi Grow, Maxi Bloom and Floranova bloom, love them all - - a bit of a Lucas guy you might say.

We will see but so far were on our way just did the 1st week of 12/12 and swapped the rez out to Veg+Bloom on a Barneys Critical Kush grow.

Show me sum dat sugar !
