Real talk! make all the crosses you want, but dont call um the same damn thing. OG and OG BX are two different things. Theres chem d and theres hermi d, dont call hermi d chem d.
Also when they label hella different names n it all the same shit. I came across some obama og, platinum og, titan og, and princeton og all in the same club, they all smelt the same n looked hella similar, only thing I could tell different was maybe different grow styles but I know at least two uh them was the same shit, different name. I know platinum usually means grown exceptionally well, but it wasnt no better then the Obama og.
Hype has a lot to do with things. Best strain I ever smoked and grew was Hasan, and nobody has ever heard of it. Was hoarded into extinction is my best guess, didn't know what I had when I was 16.
GSC deserves the hype, but without the hype, it would just be a grower circles go to strain.

but beyond that... name it something besides cookie crisp or hot cookies or fresh cookies or cookie rasckal or cookie inferno... instead people should come up with something creative, original and or just GSC x OGR FIRE OG Bx... thats what I wanna know... and that would good to me and people who weren't online to witness the creation can still easily know what it is... and what it isn't.but that is to much to ask of people.... fa sure, the more I think about it the more impossible it is to keep -GSC- the forum cut & OGKB- the GSC-... pretty soon nobody in the market or at the consumer level will care if the cookies they are smoking is 100% or not, if they can get cheaper cookies they most likely will, if nothing else but because of the ignorance that the two aren't in fact one and the same. and those with the real cuts will pay the price... as demand is bound to drop (not saying people won't want cookies, they just won't know, or care to know, if its pure or not... so those with the real deal will have to compete with knock offs [not fair to GSC])... while hella mofo's cash in on 1 offs...
that's just my opinion

thats exactly what happened with og....people started to care less if it was pure ghost, sfv, or abusive, the three originators in my eyes...and poison og I suppose....But now now one cares. Anything og will do......I personally want only true sfv or ghost.....only......

Many of all these different og's have been around for a long long time, and wasnt until the og craze/flood came around 06-08, that people started releasing there cuts that they tightly held before. People would put different tags on the cuts they had simply as ogkush. No one can say one cut is more of an original than another. Obviously the majority of different og's now are s1's. But there are still dozens of og's that have been around since before the craze, and used to be called just og kush
on to the topic of cookies, whats the deal with the sherbert cookies? Ive seen some of you mention it being at clubs like green door or something, anyone ever take any pics of it?

forgot what i was going to say, lol.. oh yeah in my way of thinking there was only one true og kush, all the others have to be s1's or crosses, no way around it. same with cookies. its just like everyone already said nobody tells the lineage , they just give it a name like fire of or sfv or whatever, nothing wrong with makin the crosses but try to keep records and strain info correct and recorded for future breeding and less NO ONE KNOWS FOR SURE .

what about the possibility of there being multiple phenos from whatever seeds the original ogkush came from. With how uniform most of the s1's of og's are, i would think the original beans must have all been fairly similar as well?

your gonna turn down tahoe? Triangle Kush? Valley? Diablo? Private Reserve? Legend? Larry? King Louis XII? Raskal? Face Off? BTY? one could on and on and on. Most all of them are fucking dank when grown proper. So why restrict yourself to only those three?
I can see if your talking what plants you want to grow, than sure ya its good to restrict it to a few og cuts that you dial in best. But i wouldnt ever turn down smoking on any og. And even if you can only limit yourself to only 3 og's to grow, its hard to really say that only 3 are worth it. I have grown over a dozen og's and have seen the quality of them turn out different every time. Ive had batches turn out not so great of a cut, where another run of the same cut turns out amazing.
SO its really hard to say any 3 og's are that much better than the others, there are just wayyyyy to many ogs to narrow it to 3 winners

Heard good things about that one.
never thought of that idea st, good point, wish we really knew wtf it is or its origins, the storys and myths are just that. at least with the cookies we have a few facts but as always way to many claims and false or sceptical theorys.
and after getting so off topic with og's figured i better throw up some cookies shots.
