Wholesale pot prices plummet. Now there starting to get better

Veg N Out

Again all these teen tickets and dollar bargain is just desperate rookies trying to pay their way out of the debt hole their shitty grow got them in. The price line is still holding strong at 2 and above for locals with the reputation for having the best around...I heard they are still working their Trainwreck crosses too...wonder what will happen when their Kush and Diesel finds its way to the flower market.

Lots of desperate rookies I guess cause I'm seeing 16-17 now and that through a local broker friend cause I've been lazy. Last year this time out of Mendo I was getting quoted 22. Less than 6 months later went to some of the same growers and the exact same inventory went for 16-17. Will be very interesting to see how this season plays out. Rookies will continue to enter the market. Some people are simply happy at about 16. Just the way it is and they keep growing.

Will be a bumper crop of quality herb this year. I haven't seen a frost at 4,000' yet and no rain in the forecast for another almost week. By then a good chunk of the Cali outdoor will be down.

2k for the fullseason outdoor LVPK (looks like indoor bubba kush) in bay area...broker knocks them for 22. getting 22 for SFV OG (what a bitchy low yielding outdoor strain, but damn looks so close to my indoor OG which goes for 28-29).....heard from a birdie that it all eventually goes for 4k+ in other places

I'm one of those persons in other places :bump: ...u guys think its bad at least u can get ur money upfront ..u kno what it's like to spend ur hard earn $$ ..and then have to risk GETTING IT TO U ..sucks major ass if it doesn't make it ..u thought u guys lose ..no way ..but that accounts for the price being so high ..the risk and the lack of product is what really sets our market

Well said... It can be like running a collectible or hobby-ship business. The hobby owner/grower breaks even and thinks they made a profit. When a professional breaks even they realize how much been has lost.

That's some awesome looking Blue Knight. I started talking that strain up last winter. Good thing you got light dep cause full season stuff tends to be uber small nugs as it just breaks apart. Still smokes great though. Hard to believe that stuff did not come from the Chico hills area. I bought no Blue Knight buds last year but did buy a few lbs of Blue Knight kief. Blue Knight finishes super early anyway so you're just now getting it from a light dep?

There's a new strain called Good Knight which is Good Times (aka a select cut of Vanilla Kush) x Blue Knight. Both were reversed and don't know which ended up being the daddy/mommy in the cut they ended up selecting. Last year they tested crosses and this year full blown grows with the selected cut.

Yesterday I was offered Purple Crack, Purple Diesel, Orange Crush and one other strain for 16 through a friend so 15 off the farm. Gonna hit the Chico area Sunday and see what they've been up to this summer.

i NEED that blue knight cut!! it finishes super early...but yyea the ones i saw a few weeks ago were smaller peices..but the smell and taste is what makes the BK so popular....friends all love that shit, zero complaints.

best part was i got a couple packs and they were weighed at 510 with the bag! was able to chip out a bunch of free herb which went for 160 a zone..

Yeah that BK is excellent herb for a lot of reasons except the structure sucks. Krunch showed the best BK I've seen to date and am jealous lol. If you let her go long it'll turn black and foxtails to the point it looks like dreads. BK all over the place last year when visiting friends.

All good things must come to an end...I don't feel sorry for these fucks one fucking bit...for years they made a ton of money and didn't have the intelligence to put any of it up...

hell the guy that got popped for 800lb's...could have sold the herb for 500 a P and made 400K for the year, damn good living if ya ask me...but no I think I will sit on it and wait to get top dollar...

once again I feel no sympathy for the greedy fucks who have no idea how to manage money and expect for someone else to pick them up...No one picked me up after I was sent to curb after 10 years of service to an IT firm, I picked myself up and said fuck the corporate world and I won't be heading back.

It is unreasonable to expect wholesalers to reduce their prices when the retail price is mostly static. Why should a wholesaler sell for $500lb when the retail is going $5120-6400lb. I find it really irritating when people think that its OK to expect most of the money to be made by those who do not actually produce anything at all aside from the service of distribution.
