@led newbie and brown thumb ..thank you...the solar storm may have to stay at the end of the trial, compared to the last 600w grow with the same strain, it's very comparable.. the only con I notice is the great coming out the vents of the light, it's quite hot.I'm pretty sure the next models will have done short of fix

Thanks bro, the setup is a 4x4 tent, scrog, under the screen is 9" from the top of pot..the screen and up are around 12 to 15" colas, light distance from top of buds is 24"

I am running a less powerful unit maybe 350-384 real watts being used and it also runs hotter than I expected. More watts = more heat, it's that simple. But, if it works well and doesn't sizzle before the 3 year warranty, I am happy. A side benefit in the winter is that I save $ on heating, but summer sucks.
Thats a detailed answer!!! I'm learning for my First SCROG, with a DIY LED using 10W leds so to me are those details are unvaluable, thanks!!!

I'm also running a LED grow using coco and blumats, setting up the modSCROG screens, res and blumats right now. Will use 2gal pots (11L) as it's a micro grow and I'm concerned with humidity when flowering comes.
How much did your 5gal reservoir last?
Did you notice an increase in trich production when flipped UVB on? how do you see trich production compared to when you did an HPS run?
How's that strain? yield/high wise?

Thanks everyone for the mad props!
@ SVK they are pretty dense, the first time i ran this strain through an 600w hps they came out real dense, hard rock.. i got dried cured pics of the last run ill post if you want...i think the LED this time around has passed the nugz significantly! double,..the onlt difference was the lighting and the scrog
@ repuk i used 3gal geo pots with two fans, one blowing underneath and one on top of the canopy...the humidity stayed consistent at 52-55 the whole way through...with the blumat feeding you cant go wrong...noticed an increased in the length of the trichome production and coverage when the flip to uvb..about 5percent compared to 600hps...the tent is also modified with mylar to increase coverage..my buddy is running a 600hps of the strain and has close up pics on another forum
5gal reservoir last about 3 days tops...elevated from the floor 2 and a half feet
the strain yields pine cone spear like nugs has the smell and taste of the casey jones and potent hi of the wifi,,a real head and body wrecker

@ svk here are the 600hps cured shots from the begining of the year if your curious
to conclude the grow...i think i will keep the 800w Solarstorm. i think the light is impressive..i would compare the yield to a 600whps maybe better becuase i noticed the buds more dense..the only problem i have with the light and i hope they fix is the vents on the sides do prdouce some hot exhausted air, which can be a problem for small spaces..in this case i had to connect ducting to exhaust some of the heat out..other than the heat problem this light kisks ASS!!

Some of the frostiest looking LED grow buds I've seen man,, Truly an excellent job man...the grow Gods were smiling upon you, that's for sure...
