Does it make a diffrence to light the whole bowl or part of the bowl?

I can't stand it, the girl mentioned in my earlier post does that.

My wife and I now take the first 3 hits off a bowl, then pass it her way. If she's going to scalp the bowl no matter what we do she only gets the end.

when sharing the bong...it was usually courteous to only light a "slice" of the bowl leaving fresh greens to whoever was next. but usually when i smoke by myself...i only pack maybe a halfbowl, and just torch the whole thing. i only smoke greenz, i really dont like smoking those half torched half ashy with just a little bit of green bong loads, they taste like shit and have less THC in them. my ashtray is full of half smoked weed but whatever...im not sacrificing my lungs to smoke already burned buds.

For the longest time now we've all just packed a fresh bowl for ourselves and hit it, cack it, then pass it to the next for their bowl. When the cats you smoke with are all heavy users a bowl can go quick if you're passing it around, even with cornering. Just better all around to pack fresh bowls to the face and then pass the bong to the next. Or we take turns rolling up L's. Passing someone a cacked bowl is rude.

it may be basic to you but this isn't something i've ever thought about because i've never shared a bowl

when you say "bowl", i'm guessing that could be on a pipe or bong? the colloquial term here is "cone", but i'll call it a bowl since i'm the minority here

i've never considered sharing the same bowl with the people i'm smoking with. instead, we all contribute to a mix and then pass the bong, each having our own, full bowl, until the mix is finito. maybe you guys are smoking giant bowls that need to be shared?

at least now, if i ever get passed a bowl, i won't be that c**t who encircles the whole thing

Maybe it is an age thing but it seems that almost all of the younger people (20's) I know hit a bong or pipe like a cigarette and just blow the hit out right after taking it. All the older people hold the hit in. What do you do?

well according to some shit ive read.anything that is going to be absorbed is absorbed within the first 3-5seconds so i usually inhale deeply hold it for a second or two then let it out

in my circle its usually just me and two other guys smoking. me and one other always corner etc. we're courteous stoners.

the other kid ALWAYS torches the bowl, takes a massive hit, then proceeds to cough it all out right away. ive said something before but i think he was too high and not paying attention.

i think im gonna say something again and if he keeps doing it then ill just start skipping him in the rotation.

when smoking with a bunch of other people were usually just gonna all pack one anyways so its not a big deal, since youre gonna get a bunch of hits anyway

i actually notice uninitiated smokers doing it that way. holding in a hit. most of them that do that probably don't inhale properly and are just holding their breath...

when you hit, just take a breath, deeply. that's what you're doing. i mean i see girls i knew in highschool, 23age range, who just kinda take the earlier hits off of a newly sparked blunt but just sorta puff it... then blow it out of their cheeks... or very very little actually goes into their lungs and they essentially get a contact buzz...

the only personal pet peeves i have are stingy friends, who after months of me consistently smoking them out (one in particular, actually) day after day, for months, because he's broke (but so am i, just not jobless [until friday, shop closed down so i have no job]) and then like the next time we chill and i have like no money or weed and 4 cigs (haha) he'll share a bowl with me and then like just tear up a kitchen without offering anything. not that i am entitled anything, it's just common practice in my circle of friends to share just about everything. except some people just choose not to. which is cool, it just irks me.

I have almost stopped packing full bowls, i don't smoke with many people anyhow. What i like to do is pack only enough for one real nice hit, clear it out, clean my bowl out and pack another fresh hit
I also don't usually hold my hits in to long, but that's cause i smoke ciggs and my lungs are shyt compared to what they used to be.

Heres my toothpick method.. If you want to taste the bud properly. I smoke 8-10 times a day like this. I picked it up from a guy on overgrow who had been smoking for 10 years like this lol I've introduced friends and they love it too. To share with friends bust out some toothpicks and a candle. Grind some bud and everyone can load and burn their own bowls The toothpicks also have less chemicals than matches. Almost none I believe. I find breaking them in half gives you a wider flame and you can burn the bowl better.

Bowl is gone in seconds... And it wont burn your throat.
Vape beats all methods of smoking hands down... but this is nice

you should really start thinking about making cannabutter lol then you wont lose any of the thc that would be left in that.

i have a sketchy friend too. he is down to smoke all day long...as long as it isn't his shit lol. after smoking like 8 bowls we watch fear and loathing in las vegas and in the middle he is like "hey man you wanna smoke another bowl" even if i only have a tiny bit left. thats a big no there chief dickface

well my other friend is cool, we are socialistic with our green, if we both have some we both throw down, if he is out and i got some, we smoke, if im out and he has some, we smoke. some people just get really immature with green.

When I smoke bowls alone, I usually smoke 2-3 bowls. (My criteria when buying a glass pipe are as follows: 1) The bowl must allow my pinky finger to barely fit in it. 2) the carb hole must be big enough to fit a q-tip through.)

So when I smoke with others, I know I'm gonna pack 3-5 bowls (depending on how many people are there.)

What I do is offer the green hit from each bowl to the next person in the rotation, each time. So everybody gets a fully green hit.

(That's if everybody in the circle is my homie.)

If I'm in a room with a bunch of stingy mfers I take the green hit every single time, unless there's a true homie who happens to be in the circle. I make sure he or she stands right next to me and I always pass it to him/her first.

I smoke with one friend and without ever discussing it, whenever one of us packs it, we always pass to the other before anyone else. He packs a bowl, hits it, it goes to me... then around the circle. Then I pack a bowl, hit it, it goes to him... then around the circle.
