Hello Andy I used 3 cups of crab shell meal Neptune's Harvest to 3-5 cubic feet of fresh Promix BX. I also added Neem and Karanja cake meal to the soil mix to assist in the prevention of bugs. I have used mosquito dunks in the past and they work great. Simply soak a piece of the dunk in a gallon of water for 24 hours and strain it into a spray bottle. Spray the top surface of your medium for a week or so and this should take care of it. I dont know if the dunks are organic grow friendly. I bet someone will chime in with the answer. Is your Kush Berry from Peak Seeds?

I grew out some kushberry, will again, I still have a few more seeds of it. Very tasty, and powerful, couch-locking high. Good luck.

have you noticed any change in growth when using dunks?

I only see an effect with seedlings not breaking through because of knats moving in turning the root tips red then they stop growing.

I don't think the knats hurt my plants in the flower room, they grow real nice

Update:


The kushberry was moved into 3 gal bags yesterday and they already grew 1" today after aneem oil spraydown this moring because of the damn spidermites coming back in the flower room and a little in the veg, but not on the kushberry!!

Right on man I had good luck with the kushberry, wish it was still around. Good luck on the grow

peak (initials PSBC) has kushberry and if you can get a deal if you ordered before. I have some thinking of more who knows?

i havent found gnats too be much of a nuisance. simply lay out sticky traps, topdress with dunks and you should be good to go. I have found the occasional gnat get stuck in my flowers. I wont really notice it till i come across them under a 30x

Time for an update.

Been cleaning out the flower room and working my ass off. I have the damn spider mite. After treating the flower room I will be spraying all the Kushberry and g13 down with neem oil before I take clones and flip. Pictures coming soon

I think I only set them back a few days, they seem to be growing roots again

The Kushberry is stretching like crazy in flower. I did not top any of the plants, I only took cutting from lower branches. I read somewhere that topping kushberry was bad?

Next run of kushberry will be getting topped to see how they behave.
I am hoping to reduce stretch and increase bush factor

Kushberry seems to love my recycled super soil. The kushberry cuttings will be transplanted into supersoil with crab-shell meal in the next few days.

Flower room around 10 -14 days


19 Kushberry cuts


The smallest Kushberry in Veg turned out to have the most frosty trichs. It also grew to the same height as the others. I did take one cutting from the runt, KB5. Last time I didn't take a cutting the mom turned out to be the best so this time I made sure to get a cut!!.
All the KB have trichs at 10-14 days but kb5 what used to be the runt, has frost on the top allready!!!!

These these cuttings stink like crazy. They stink way more than the moms in flower. Whats up with that?? These are the stinkyest plants I have ever had!!

The dwarf kb5 is now the tallest with 16 days left. They are coverd with trics. kb 3 and 4 smell very berry, kb1 is not looking so hot I think it needs to be fed more in veg and flower. kb 2 smells musty.
If I get any feedback I will post pics.

Been growing a shorter fruity pheno from DNA for over a year now n gonna start flowering another batch soon. Gonna try her in a little SOG for the first time. Hopefully, I can start a journal over here soon.
