Bud, is my pure blood blue nose pitt with his life partner Tera the terrible who is a boxer lab mix, they have had like 3 litters together both are close to 4-5 years old this picture was before even her first litter i think. they are lazy dogs and mostly like to sleep but bud sleeps on his back, rarely is he asleep laying on his stomach or side.

My dog is 1 of my kids,and i feed them all EVERYDAY!

I never said I believed the person that told me you shouldn't feed a pitbull everyday. I was just told that by somebody, we have a siberian husky & he has food everyday, in fact their is food there for him all the time if he wants food he can eat. Our dog is part of the family!!!!!!

why would you not feed your dog everyday? honestly?? only an idiot wouldn't feed their dog. it's people like that who end up with mean pits and then we get stuck ahving our dogs looked down upon!!!!!!!!! my 2 pits have a full bowl all day long. free feed. they go and eat when ever they feel hungry. some days they eat more then others depending on how much running around and playing they have been doing.

someone who doesn't feed their dog everyday should try not eating every second saya nd see how they feel. they are cruel or just to damn cheap to feed their dog lol at that point..... you shouldn't own a dog... hope they don't do the same to their kids!!!!!! sorry kids today is a no eating day.... my dogs are like my kids i'd never starve them... i'm sorry i started this thread for pitbull lovers........ some people disgust me

Hey reservation, the reason im thinkin my pit isn't purebred is cuz of the shape of its head. Otherwise he's definantly got a pit body, when i first got him he was mistreated and extremely skinny. Now that he's strtin to put some weight on im thinkin he looks more like a full pit more and more everyday. Heres another pic... passed out haha

hey i have a pitty and a staffordshire bull terrier..... my staff bull looks exactly like your doggy!!!!! same colour and spots on the belly and face shape...... staffordshire terriers, staffordshire bull terrierds, bulls terriers.... etc.... all breeds in those lines are considered pitbulls..... technically a pit is a group of dog.

Yes they were, They are completely and totally separate lines and should be kept separate. That is if you love the American "PIT" Bull Terrier as a pure breed.

If you live way out in Wilderness Man land and want to create Bandogges then do as you please, but if you are a lover of American "PIT" Bull Terriers please at all cost and by all means keep the from cross breeding with American Bull Dogs.

They are so far removed from that, and if you look further, the White Terrier was used which is now extinct, so it wasn't just "ANY" Terrier and Bulldog (modern day bulldogs are nothing like those Bulldogs of the 1800's) that was crossed. HUGE MISCONCEPTION.

If you cross a Bulldog and a Terrier and think you are going to get a American Pit Bull Terrier you have another thing coming.

My family has been such a huge part of what makes up modern day American Pit Bull Terriers in this Country. I know the breed like the back on my hand.

I agree with everybody about feeding your dog everyday & have always fed our dogs everyday plus dog treats etc. I just had to ask because , I figured the only thing that not feeding a dog would do is make them mean. I would never treat our dogs like that of not feeding them!!!!!!!!

Boy do I feel stupid... I didn't research the Hartz Ultraguard Flea drops or I NEVER WOULD'VE PUT THAT SHIT ON MY BUDDY!!!!!

OMG! I'm sure most of you know or have heard or you may be like me and saw it for years at the store and thought it must be decent.. FUCK NO!!!! Gave it to him 4 days ago and I thought it was bedbugs bitting him since they are rampant right now and I found a few on the boxspring but NO!!!! He had a bad reaction from the toxic ass Hartz shit that smelled nice!!! Crazy that something so toxic could smell pleasant like it did. He ended up with welts ALL over his body and I mean EVERYWHERE!!! I had shown my mom a few the day before and I guess her eyes got pretty bad not to notice these welts until I had the grow tent open and that HID lighting hit him and they stood out like crazy!!! So I looked it up and sure as shit I get story after story of dogs and cats going into seizures and biting their tongues off! Reading that freaked me out and I gave him a shower for 45min and washed him with Cetaphil face soap for sensitive skin. He felt real oily and wasn't giving me a hard time like usual so I could tell he knew shit was wrong with him. Luckily this morning they have gone down and he only had like 3 lil bumps left which sounds like the mild skin reaction which takes several days to go away!!!!!!!

I feel sooooooooooooooooooooooo bad for being cheap, thought we were doing the right thing cuz he had fleas and was chewing and wanted him to be comfy. Money is tight though so we got the cheaper stuff but like I said I didn't think a company would be able to have shit on the shelf with problems like this happening. Been around for 20yrs at least and I've seen it since I was a kid so never did I think my dog could die from it or even have the reaction he got from it...

It's been a rough night and I will be joining the lawsuit that's been filed against them, help get Hartz off the shelves!!!!!!

one thing i would like to say that is eatin me a bit is that alot of ppl dont want to believe this breeds history and original purpose it may be dark in some eyes but it made them the great people dogs they are. without it we wouldnt have our dogs today.

Shouldn’t we instead hold owners responsible for their dogs, and focus on dealing with dangerous dogs of any breed (by the way, mixed bred dogs also bite, and sometimes kill, people) instead of banning breeds? (“Punish the deed, not the breed”).

The most puzzling dogs on the list are the Huskies, Malamutes, and Pit Bull Terriers. Each of these dogs is genetically a people-friendly dog.

Ok so nobody has anything to say about Hartz!!!! I'm blown away by the fact that shit is still in stores after the horror stories. My buddy Parvo is doing better thank goodness after a Oatmeal bath but the spots the welts came up on have some sores from scratching! Poor guy! Thankfully he just had the mild skin thing and I did everything a vet friend said I could do so now I just want to make sure EVERY pet owner knows about the poison Hartz puts on our animals! NOBODY in my neighborhood with Pitty's knew anything about it!

Yea fuck a chow! I was bit by one in 5th grade and have a scar on the back of my arm that looks like the Star Trek logo lol. Tried playing fetch with him but he wasn't having it so I said fine I'll go grab the toy and bring it back.... BAD IDEA!!! That's when he attacked me right when I picked the toy up off the ground after throwing it he went nuts on me!!!!

Hated Chows ever since and NEVER has a Pit Bull done anything remotely close...

Hold it now maybe you should of read my first post I never said I believe that you shouldn't feed a pitt everyday, just a question, because some dumbass told me that sh*t dosen't mean I believe it, nor does it mean I treat my dog that way. Our Siberian Husky is feed EVERYDAY!!!!!!!
