I love Rhode Island and their mmj laws seem compassionate enough to me, being a resident (ownership) is the qualification NOT citizenship.

Once you're a resident make sure to get at least a state issued ID card; claim it's needed for local use and avoiding your exclusion of local events, services and benefits afforded to tax paying owner/residents like yourself, claim that ONLY a state issued ID would be recognized. When you have a state issued ID card you're good to go w/a doctors recommendation.

Approved Conditions: Cancer, glaucoma, positive status for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, or the treatment of these conditions; A chronic or debilitating disease or medical condition or its treatment that produces cachexia or wasting syndrome; severe, debilitating, chronic pain; severe nausea; seizures, including but not limited to, those characteristic of epilepsy; or severe and persistent muscle spasms, including but not limited to, those characteristic of multiple sclerosis or Crohn’s disease; or agitation of Alzheimer's Disease; or any other medical condition or its treatment approved by the state Department of Health.

If you have a medical marijuana registry identification card from any other state, U.S. territory, or the District of Columbia you may use it in Rhode Island. It has the same force and effect as a card issued by the Rhode Island Department of Health.

Possession/Cultivation: Limits the amount of marijuana that can be possessed and grown to up to 12 marijuana plants or 2.5 ounces of cultivated marijuana. Primary caregivers may not possess an amount of marijuana in excess of 24 marijuana plants and five ounces of usable marijuana for qualifying patients to whom he or she is connected through the Department's registration process.

Amended: H5359 (70 KB) - The Edward O. Hawkins and Thomas C. Slater Medical Marijuana Act (substituted for the original bill)

Timeline:

May 20, 2009: passed the House 63-5
June 6, 2009: passed the State Senate 31-2
June 12, 2009: Gov. Carcieri vetoed the bill (60 KB)
June 16, 2009: Senate overrode the veto 35-3
June 16, 2009: House overrode the veto 67-0

Effective: June 16, 2009Allows the creation of compassion centers, which may acquire, possess, cultivate, manufacture, deliver, transfer, transport, supply, or dispense marijuana, or related supplies and educational materials, to registered qualifying patients and their registered primary caregivers.

That statute is not quoted in its entirety but is an offering of what I thought was the meat of what you might be looking into.

the cape is nice . but traffic is an issue in the summer. in the winter its barren compared. i got tired of traffic and fucking tourists.getting over the bourne or sagamore bridge can be a nightmare . we used to make midnight runs to avoid the traffic.

Coast of Maine is long and full of great spots to pick your mussels right out of the rocks. The ocean is beautiful there, and you can always find something to buy. The MMj laws are pretty good there, Im hoping to make it up for a Cannabis Fest next weekend.

The crowds anywhere in NE in the summer near the ocean are a pain if you live there.

Do you ski, downhill or cross country? Thats about the best reason to get away from the coast, other then price. Ive always thought that Lake Sunapee region of NH was nice.

with the cape its hard to get away from the crowds . due to its design and being surrounded by water and all. maine is nice everywhere and you can easilly loose the crowds and yourself if ya aint carefull LOL

superman. never mind the stripers, the friggin' strippers in Mass are outstanding, The Foxy Lady in Brockton is tops, all the dancers look like they're right outta the pages of Playboy. Last time I was there we (me & my crew) had a great all you can eat buffet lunch and an awesome show.

One of the amigos (Julian) had never been that close to a playmate model type like that before never mind a naked one, he was breathing heavy and would NOT take his eyes off of them for a second. When a silicone beauty offered him a lap dance he was speechless and a bit broke so I coughed up the $25 and off he went. Julian was a really good guy, he was butt ugly and had no woman in his life, he lived w/his brothers family and sent nearly all of his earnings to his mother in Ecuador, good man taking care of mom.

Surf casting (from the Jamestown side) for bluefish as they run under the Jamestown/Newport Bridge was always awesome.

btw 944 it's a fast run up highway 24 from rhode island (newport) to brockton mass.......

well the ones in whats left of the combat zone were horrible. think it was the glass slipper. like a retirement home for old hookers and strippers. i go to a strip club near brockton in my home town when in area. my dad was a selectman with a campaign to stop it getting built. saw chesty morgan there lol. ha ha fuck you dad. when real men go to maine after they see the coast they dump the old lady in a motel and get redneck. no pussies allowed.
