Rental manager showing house for next possible renter

Im moving and the rental company is currently showing thouse for possible future tenants. I currently only have moms an cuts that wete taken a week ago in my walkin closet in the master bedroom. So i lock it up and leave a pan of lysol in there to deal with smell an turn the filter an light ect off while they show the place. Its been showed once an i had my wife hop in the shower so they could feel like they only want to peek in the master to see it but today the wife was workin an they had access to the room an the first thing the rental manager does is go straight for my walkin closet. she looked at me an said its locked....wtf do u need to see my closet where the wifey has her clothes an teddys an such. i told her its my gun closet an nobody sees in there....she gave me this look an continued to show the rest of the house.


should i worry since she went straight for the closet an gave me a look?

I wouldn't be worried really, but I would try and make the house more accessible. The look meant, "Hey, I am trying to market this house to prospects and the walk in closet is a major amenity that could seal the deal." Your messing with his/her bread and butter. It is like showing a car to a buyer but you can't pop the hood. The walk in closet may be all that is needed to really impress the prospects. I would find a new place to keep your girls when you expect this type of company.

I would have had all plants and growing gear out...already in a new location...before they knew I was moving.

AS far as your situtation....for a few moms and cuts...I wouldn't worry all that much. If she says anything to you...or hints that she wants 100% access to show the place...then I would move that shit asap. I would actually move that stuff either way...it will be less stress for you IMHO.

my move in date for the next place is this friday so it is what it is an i have nobody to store them with since i moved to nevada.

Sounds like you have already had 2 visits (unofficial warnings) Lets quit throwing caution to the wind and assume she will definitely want to show the closet & entire house next time. If she has the key already and 24 hour access then you're at risk to a lot worse. LEOs, deposit loss, reference loss, credit score, crazy pissed manager. My advice if this CAN be avoided, avoid it.

yes its only while i show it and i have to turn off my filter

im a stay at home dad so im here all the time an they have to give me a verbal an written notice of 24 hours in advance to have access......i would love to avoid this but this is my personal med grow aj i wont get a scrilt in nevada since they put it on ur i.d. an that keeps ya from purchasing weapons.

Yeah I have been in real estate and the first thing you do is open EVERY DOOR except the ones you do not want to show and then the client WANTS to see in there because in their heads all they think is , " whats fucked up in there that they don't want me to see?".

It will have to be opened up for the renters to sign. I would get everything out, do you have a patio or somewhere you can set them in a box during that time, have a bbq going or something stinky with you? Or put them in the car in boxes so they are completely out

show them how great the closet is to grow pot in, talk about the benefits, the ability to always pay rent on time etc, hell throw in a clone or two if they sign RIGHT NOW lol.

thanx for the idea, im gonna put them in trash bags in boxes in the car next time so they can show the bedroom walkin closet.....if they dont show it for 6 more days im in the clear an can just leave em in there till then.....otherwise in the car they go.

that would work nice for the moms, an the seedlings an cline tray with recent cuts can go inside the car in bags an box.

update: the first person to see the place wanted to show her husband so they called back an hour or so later askin to come back an i agreed. they seemed to like it so maybe no more showings if they sign a lease. :woohoo:

you can pick up a cardboard wardrobe box at lowes or the depot for about 30-40 bones...its big enough to put the momma's in and clone trays can fit in the large boxes they carry...and since you are moving the wardrobe and boxes would blend in...

i dont think the stink would stay in the box from the strains i got, gonna keep em in the trashcan in bags to play it safe. i almost killed em all cause i had a strange drive by of a sherriff after the last showing.

actually its not on the drivers license you recieve a ID which looks like your DL. a friend of mine is a armed security gaurd and MMJ registered another friend of mine has a friend whos a clark county school teacher and registered MMJ. :biggrin:
