Actually we dont even bother with the Canadian imports down here anymore. I remember in high school we had to deal with it though.

To me it doesn't make sense that every time the CBA expires, there has to be a strike. It is getting ridiculous.
The NFL will sure pick up the slack, at least in my case.
I think it is time for a massive fan strike. We need to take a year off to get over this bs.

You do realize you are in the Canada forum right?
This is not the first lockout for the NHL and I'm way to busy to follow games. Only thing I'll miss is the playoff. Spoiled little twats if you ask me all of them.
Well The lock Does suck big time and both ends of the committee do have there strong points Not sure on how many of you played hockey and tried to make the big league, for most its sitting infront of the tube cheering your fav player or team.
many of you don't realize that a NHL'r probably gets in anywhere's from 1 to 5 years either they just don;t make it, get lost in the shuffle , or end up injured concussion, the game has changed big time its Faster and way more dangerious just look at the last few years of head injuries etc so players want something to fall back on NHL is big business and big money and big player turn over
And being in the Canadian forums its no wonder down south prob is unaware of it hahaha with most of NHL'ers being Canadian and European its no wonder most americans are into there Starbuck coffee's and there reality TV shows

If 10k people sell out EVERY junior game locally, and only 12k people watch 10 different nhl teams on average, weve got problems that CLEARLY are not being talked about in public.
Why? Well those owners of the piss poor low attendance teams know they will be the first ones out if a restructuring of the league were to happen, and they cant be losing millions right(as if they havent already shot themselves in the foot) lol
