thats great man im still yet to grow anything purple.i have been told 2 of the strains i was growing are suppost to be purple but no luck so far my purple kush was shooting some mamoth nug wich was cool but it never got purple the 3 times i grew it.and the ace of spades is still growing but it sure dont look purple to me lol w/e
And wow i never heard of duck foot weed what does tht taste like?looks cool

i start with 26 leb30 beans and select the plants with a red stem .
and then i look for a male with red shine in his balls
and select a red lady its easy in fact .
there were 6 plants with red in it of the 25 thats 20 % .
in the next generation maybe 50 % i dont know .
ducksfoot is a australien plant created by wally duck .
the taste is like hasj and fruity .
i like it because of its steahlt look .
which is indoors a treat less intresting as outdoors .

im glad i got my other camera working again now i can get alot closer with out so much blur!! anyways here is a close up of one of my buds ace of spades. its a hairy beast.i dont think this strain is going to swell up to much its week 5 so im guessing not either way its still a fun time to grow.

so when i bought my ace of spades i bought 2 cuts.i gave one to a friend.we have identical set ups.i bought him the same veg lamps i have same hps same nutes.... now he neglects his plants barley feeds them and he really dont give much of s shit about his plants.but his plant is looking way better then mine his is untopped thou and still in veg.but if i look at mine im sayin sativa all the way but when i look at his its definatley indica leafs are mega fat... and the stems and everything looks the same other then the leaf structer im sure they were cut from the same mother about 99% sure.i think he has some mega plant water or something..im going to steal about 50 gallons from his next grow and see what happens lol/,,so now after seeing his im thinking mine is indica but since mines a bush and i cliped all the orginal fans off my leafs are just the mini verson.either way im pissed lol.

my plant has a penis and a vagina .probley alot of light leakage in this apartment.im going to let her ride till the end thou it will probley pollenate my lemon schwag lol fuck it i guess worse things have happened.
That might be in the genes. Light stress can cause females to throw nanners but a stamen AND a calyx is a hermi. Just culled one myself. Sometimes you can nip off one or three stamen and harvest the weed. Other times you might see a full-blown hermi that has as many or more stamen as calyx. I sacrifice those to the herm god in hopes they're as few as possible. 
Long story short, you might not necessarily have a light leak and it wouldn't take a light leak for the hermi to show.

thanks for the feed back again disco! im about 95% sure i do have a light leek.i have had this plant at 4 locations throu its 12/12 cycle.moving alot while growing bud can be difficult lol.only spot i have to grow now is in a hall closet and when the hps is on i can see all the light coming around all the corners of the door.but its ok im praying that soon ill get my real house ..if i could win a dam bid already.. and then ill have some guaranteed females ace of spades x lemon schwag.also i plant to build my own true 150w grow room lol.
but at the very least i grow weed to experiment and have fun so lets see what happens

thats a nice looking plant disco.i didnt relize we were neck and neck with harvest thou lol.i just flushed mine 2 days ago this strain im working with has peuny sized buds compared to the last strain but it has a bunch of trichomes.but id like to at least fully complete a plant for once i alway chop them a tad early and i never get leafs to change colors or anything.do people just flush once or do you keep flushing them everyday? im a newb

If you are growing with any chemical nutes or time released nute soil mix at all I would suggest flushing atleast once with 2-3x the amount of water of the container volume to rinse the medium of excess salts. Do this atleast 2 weeks before chop, then just give plain water the last two weeks.
I grow purely organic so I dont technically flush my plants/containers by dumping massive amounts of water through the medium. I just water with plain water atleast the last 2 weeks of flowering before chop if not a couple days more depending on how well I estimate my harvest date.

The ducks foot looks pretty crazy especially in that last pic.
I had one leaf on my Blueberry Gum two grows ago that had the 3 innermost leaf blades duck footed but just that one leaf and that is the only time it ever happened to me.

Small buds ain't necessarily a bad thing. Several high dollar fire strains are less than average yielders so here's to hoping it's nice and strong.
Had my share of early chops. Some strains need 3 months in flower and a 4 month strain isn't that uncommon for sativa lovers.
I've read that some equatorial strains take up to 8 months to finish. Natural daylight's already close to 12/12 year round so force flowering indoors still takes a while.
I'm glad I'm partial to the higher CBD of indicas and indica leaning hybrids, not to mention the shorter flowering times.
Color changes are sometimes cooler-temps based and others are genetic. Many low temp purps are limited to leaves, the bud itself typically remains green. Genetic purpling can affect bud.
I agree with BT on the flush. If you've fed em every watering with full strength or stronger, 2 to 3x the normal volume of water is a good start.
I usually wait until the plants are ready for more water before hitting em again. I also measure the runoff strength to gauge the progress.

hey thanks for the replies.i never know what im growing till the end lol. i think the flavor of the weed really has to do with making it to the very end and the season over for the plant im hoping to see the fall time apearance on my larger leafs and then try the smoke out im really thinking them leafs turning yellow and dieing off have a large part in the total condensed flavors a plant can give off. either way im learning to take my time when i do things and see what happens.this grow has been stressed from the first day i bought it and been throu mega stress with all the moving and so forth.this new space it has to finish was not the most optimal and i wasnt looking to deck it out either cause ill be moving again and my living space is tight so i can see the large gaps of light coming out of my closet when the lights on i put a car window reflective shield up to force the light back to the wall and block a larger % of light from coming in.but im guessing ill have more great seeds witch will kick ass.
