Hey Peeps,
New location, new system.
I thought I would put up a few pics of the under current system I designed. Its has eight seperate 35 litre containers all joined with 40mm waste pipe and returns to the brain using a 3000 lph pump, the whole system also has 15mm drain sites connected to a 1000 lph pump for draining and flushing quickly. Inside the brain is a UV Steriliser and a twin water fall caused by a T at the return and another water fall created by the aquarium Chiller feed, so in total 3 water falls to create oxygen. I am using 2 Magnum xxxl reflectors dimmed at 600 watts each for now, using MH in veg and 1000 watt Sodium for flowering. I have also designed a 7' x 3' clip on SCROG screen when the plants are ready.
The nutrients I will be using are Plant Magic and the ph is now 5.8 and the e.c is 1.3. I can honestly say that the speed of growth is something else.
This was going to be an air conditioned room but the compressor on the a/c unit packed up after only 2 days continual running so now extracting through a 6" carbon filter through the lights. The intakes are two 5" silent fans taking cool air from the 50ml air gap between the slates all plugged in to SMS twin fan controllers set at 27c, and I am awaiting delivery on a very nice air cooler that only uses £2 per day to run to combat heat, along with a series of oil rads on thermostat sockets to combat cold, and a dehumidifier with humidistat set at 40% RH.
I designed this system to use less nutes, less waste and also for the explosive growth rate. The waste only comprises of a 5" net pot with pebbles and coco as well as the root mass, as disposing of 60 litres of coco each time was becoming a problem. As its a recirc system rather than a run to waste system I will use less nutes.
The strain I will be growing is Lonestars Killer Queen as I have really come to enjoy the smoke, and its easier catering for one strains needs.
Here are some pics of the system before the adding of plants I will soon post pics of the plants so you can see just how fast they grow like this.
