Sup y'all?
Ok, I am not sure exactly what is going wrong here. 100 gal smart pots with roots 707 soil, advanced nutrients 2 part heavy harvest program. Definitely applied more nutes a bit too early, and watered twice as heavy as normal last week. Perhaps that would explain the scorchy look, but the dull, listless, lifeless wilt is unfamiliar too me. I don't know, but if anyone has any insight on what is going on here, and/or what we can do about it, that would be delightful.
Thanx,
SquareDiesel

Flush with plain ph'd water to wash out the overnuteage, just made up that word, overnuteage. Let them dry out before going back with a lighter nute dosage, much lighter and feed them with that. A flush normally consist of 3 times as much water as medium but I can't see pumping 300 gallons of water through the pots unless you really over did it..
You really don't need to bombard these plants with heavy doses of nutes. A little goes a long way. Nute burn is hard to bounce back from but if caught in time you may be able to salvage them. Same with over watered medium. It will get wilty and listless looking.

Resinryder has your back here, great advice. :D

Whatever you do... -Don't- feed according to a nutrient mfg's recommendations, they're usually always geared to sell nutes, not grow awesome plants. :)

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:

wilting may be a reaction to flushing with too much water... soil becomes waterlogged/no oxygen very quickly, wont drain like hydro

Wow..All whatever info and no pics. I mean right? What are we supposed to be looking at? And someone has advice? Sorry I haven't seen pic 1 yet.

Oi, sorry, I accidentally posted w/o photos. The next thread is the same thing just with photos this time. I'm figuring it out.

Hey ResR,
Thanks for the input. Only thing, is that the Heavy Harvest nutrients I am using are a top dressing, time release formula. If I water them enough to float a boat load, then the nutes will just release even more...sticky, sticky situation.
