true guys,sorry,i REALLY like icmag much better though,so happy i joined!..and dont worry am a grower,yeah i SUCK bad haha,but im still one.not running anything righth now though,when i do its under a 400watter and coco coir.iv used led's and idk,yield was very lacking

Lots of good folks here and tons of great info!

I use coco as well, but I use the LEDs for veg and stick with the HIDs for flowering. Seems to work well for me.

I don't know if I would say the LEDs are better than a T5. I think the LEDs run a little cooler, but they both get the job done.

If you left the stuff feeling a bit dirty and excited in an extremely naughty kinda way then we succeeded!!! lol
On a serious note, saw you are using coco coir, Do yourself a big favor and do about a 60% coir/40% perlite mix. Have gotten better root systems, better growth, and bigger yields since I starte3d doing it this way. I use it in smart pots.

first grow i used perlite,i found i didnt like it,kinda messy,and the perlite floats to the top,and i prefer seeing the coco than perlite,lame reason lol..i like how simple pure coco is,plus its bad breathing in perlite dust

What kind of container are you using that it floats to the top? Never had that problem. And yeah the dust can be a concern so I use a mask when mixing big batches. Ever blown coco dust out your sinuses?lol
Oh, and I rinse the perlite off in a large colander type thing I made before mixing with the coco
