is there a pressing tool out there instead of cheesecloth and hands

Have you tried an 'Aerobie Aeropress'? It's what I'm going to be purchasing for my next tincture production... For £25 on eBay, I think it's worth a try...

I have been using a new, clean pair of pliers to squeeze the infused oil out of the cheesecloth. I cook either a quarter or half OZ at a time. Strain the oil out, than wrap the remaining material up in cheescloth and squeeze. It works very good. You don't loose too much.

i use a strainer w the weed in a cheese cloth or panyt hose on top of th strainer then push down on that w a bowl,
kinda simple but keeps from burning ur hands.

You have just made life so much better for me. The 3 for a dollar pantyhose work great but burning hands and hot butter running down the arms were always a downside to my method.

Yeah potato masher I think this is what they call it .. They have many types but this is also what I use works great. If you really want to clean things up you can pour it through a coffee filter a few times then use the potato masher to drain You can find older ones at Salvation Army or Value Village I like the older ones they work really well . headband 707

Aeropress made by Arobie. I make my coffee with one everyday and have used it for pressing iso. You could use cheesecloth instead of the coffee filter but it should work perfect. Sorry I am so late with the post.

Here is my press. I use it when doing ethanol washes. It is like an oversized garlic press. The long handle allows you to apply a lot of pressure to squeeze ethanol or butter out of the weed.
